Vox amPlug 3 Boutique Headphone Guitar Amp w/ 2 Channels & Stereo Effects

Two great channels! The clean channel sounds great with decent headroom even if you want to crank that gain knob. The drive channel with the gain low is perfect for classic rock tones and as you crank it, it can do a decent high gain sound. If you only want a high gain sound I would look at their other options but this is very versatile. Includes backing tracks and metronome with tap tempo. Included effects are fun to play with. This model can't do delay and reverb at the same time, but it's still a nice inclusion. There's also chorus, but I use that less. Fantastic value for a great practice tool. Throw it in a gig bag and you can play anywhere. This thing makes me want to get one of those travel electric guitars so I can play almost anywhere

Damn, Boutique version is amazing! I have for years the N89 model (VOX AC30), and just was courious if there are new things already, and yes, they are, and yes, it's a huge step forward! The Boutique is the most versatile, IMHO, from clean sound to something near 'heavy'. Switching between clean and crunch on the start button - that's something! The built-in drums are unnecessary, but sometimes it may be interesting to play along with the rhythm, because you can tap out your own rhythm, that's nice. Later I have discovered that this tiny gizmo sounds really good.

I don't like being sold something that is suppose to be new the obviously isn't. the plug is suppose to be extended. there's a slot in the packeting for it. but it was tucked behind the unit. also package has major scratching to the plastic cover. but it works and sounds great. but i should get some kind of a refund.

The unit just cuts off when I try to play on the gain mode (red light). I replaced the batteries and it worked for about 30 minutes, then just started cutting off again. The unit may be defective. If it eats batteries that fast, that’s also a serious issue.

Der VOX amPlug 3 liefert einen überraschend druckvollen und dynamischen Gitarrensound. In Kombination mit einem Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO Kopfhörer steht das Klangbild einem Verstärker in nichts nach und die Batterielaufzeit ist akzeptabel, allerdings wären wiederaufladbare Batterien eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. Jetzt lässt es sich in jeder Tages- und Nachtzeit üben. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Still not the greatest sound. Especially not great with humbuckers, sounds like mud city. But for a fun noodle session on the couch at night it gets the job done.

Avevo il primo amplug e devo dire che suonava bene ed era comodissimo da usare. Questa terza edizione è semplicemente mostruosa per qualità dei suoni. Puliti bellissimi e distorsioni definite e cariche di armoniche, suono molto analogico. Non so come hanno fatto quelli della Vox ma hanno tirato fuori un prodotto superlativo. Ti viene voglia solo di suonare.
