Perfect for Families with Multiple Kids – Keeps Them Active and Happy!
We got this gymnastics bar setup for our four kids (ages 4 to 10), and it’s been one of the best purchases we’ve made. It’s super sturdy, easy to assemble, and the bright pink color makes it a favorite in our playroom. All of the kids use it—from our toddler doing basic hanging to our older ones practicing more advanced gymnastics moves. The adjustable height makes it perfect for multiple ages and skill levels. It folds up easily when we need space, and it feels very safe and stable, even with all the use it’s getting daily. If you’re looking for something active, durable, and exciting for your kids, this is it!

A great way to provide some muscle and core development and fun too!
Wow, easy to put together in just minutes and amazingly sturdy! I was pleasantly impressed with the stability and quality of the pieces and once assembled our little grans (2 yr and 5 yr) were taking turns swinging on the bar and attempting to do the over the top moves. Even with both of them hanging on at the same time the unit stayed steady showing no signs of flex. Easy to fold up and move out the way as well. Based on the 5 year's old determination to get up and over the bar it looks like it will provide years of muscle development. Great idea to keep them exercising now that the colder weather has arrived.

The "First Steps" Bar
1. Stability & Build Quality The Triangle Base: The bar uses a standard triangle-base design with rubber floor pads. For a 40-lb child doing a pullover, it is rock solid. The Wobble Factor: As children get heavier (approaching 70-80 lbs) or skills get more dynamic (swinging hard), the bar will lift off the ground or wobble. This is simple physics for a lightweight, foldable bar. You can mitigate this by placing sandbags on the legs, but it is a limitation of the design. Weight Limit: The manufacturer claims a 140 lb weight limit. In reality, while the steel bar might hold that weight without bending, the base will likely tip over if a 100 lb child swings on it aggressively. Realistically, treat the effective limit for swinging skills as ~75-80 lbs. 2. Adjustability & Storage Height: It adjusts easily between 35" to 51" using a pin-lock mechanism. This range is perfect for toddlers up to about 2nd grade. Folding Mechanism: This is the bar's best feature. Unlike professional bars that are bolted permanently, you can pull up on the connecting rods and fold this unit flat against a wall. If you have a small playroom or apartment, this feature alone makes it a winner. 3. The "Included" Accessories The Mat: Most listings include a mat, but manage your expectations. It is usually a thin, yoga-style mat, not a thick crash mat. It will protect the floor from scratches, but it will not protect your child from a fall. You will almost certainly need to buy a proper 4-inch crash mat separately. Bar Pad: The kit often includes a foam wrap for the top bar. This is essential for protecting little hips from bruising during hip circles. Should You Buy It? YES, IF: You have a child (ages 3-7) who just started gymnastics classes and wants to show you their "tricks" at home, or if you need a bar that hides away in a closet when not in use. NO, IF: Your child is a competitive gymnast (Level 3 or higher), weighs over 80 lbs, or is practicing high-velocity skills like kips and back hip circles. For them, you need a heavy-duty, non-foldable bar with a wider base.

Don’t get the mat!! Great customer service!!
Don’t waste money on the mat!! The bar is great, very easy to put together and nice, sturdy quality. The mat on the other hand is thin, flimsy and not worth the money!! I would return it and just buy the bar alone but imagining taking the bar apart and packing back up just to get my money back for the mat makes me mad so lesson learned and I want to help prevent someone else from making the same mistake! Edit: Customer service is great, they reached out to me and refunded the money for the mat. And again the bar is perfect, would highly recommend the bar!

Great Practice Bar for Kids
My daughter absolutely loves this gymnastics bar set. I bought it for her for Christmas after she had been begging for one and it has been a huge hit. She already had a tumbling mat and a barrel that were purchased separately and she spends so much time using all of it together with her neighborhood friends that I’m impressed. The price was very fair and matches the quality in my opinion. Installation was easy enough for a 14 year old to put together alone. The bar is height adjustable and holds a tall 9 year old with no issues. It feels durable enough for regular use for a child and she’s been practicing flips and skills daily. We placed the air tumbling mat underneath for protection in case she falls. I set it up in front of our Ring camera so I can keep an eye on her while I’m working inside which was a genius idea. It allows me peace of mind and I never miss anything she wants me to see. This has been a great addition to her gymnastics setup and has kept her active and entertained during the break. Definitely worth it for kids who love tumbling and practicing at home.
