Ecover Non-Bio Laundry Liquid, Lavender & Sandalwood, 40 Washes, 1.43L

So good in many aspects: cleans professionally, leaves a nice scent, is soft, affordable, natural; which means it poses no harm whatsoever to anyone. To be honest with you, I’ve found it removes dirt and smells more than the conventional biological petrochemical-derived detergents, which is something I wasn’t expecting. I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates nature.

This is a favourite of mine. The scent is really nice. I have sensitive skin but no reaction from the Ecover range. It’s very good at cleaning clothes even when quite messy. Sometimes it’s on offer so good to stock up. I find it’s lasting a long time and somehow my clothes are less creased after the wash, which is fantastic as I don’t care too much for ironing

Having using this laundry detergent for years. Love its smell and the cleaning power on our clothes with food stain every now and then. I dont usually use condition, but i noticed this detergent can soften my clothes after washing. I trust this detergent compared with other brands as i notice there has no skin irritants to my family members. It is slightly expensive than other brands but i trust the composition of this brand so I will keep using it.

I switched to Ecover when in search of a more eco-friendly option that was better for our clothes but also had the cleaning power to clean my children’s very dirty clothes at times. Positives: It smells great, it’s a lovely natural smell that’s not overpowering like normal perfumed washing detergents. It cleans really well; performance-wise, I’ve noted no difference between this and the Persil non-bio I was using previously. When I’ve had some tougher stains, I’ve used the Ecover stain remover, which is excellent and has removed some big grass stains, which I was impressed with. I have sensitive skin, and one of my children suffers with some mild eczema, and we have had no reactions. Negatives: The dosing cap is messy and creates a gunky mess around the cap, which gets all over your hands when using. I bought the 1.48l bottle size on offer for £6 originally, which felt like a great price. I’m trying to reduce my plastic consumption, so I thought it would be great to have that bottle refilled and imagined it would work out to be the same price to have a refill given that I’m not buying another plastic bottle. Firstly, the Ecover website that provides details of refill sites is outdated, so I visited three shops before I found one that actually had a refill. Secondly, when I got my refill in said shop, imagine my horror when the till rung up £10.80. Safe to say, refilling was not going to be a sustainable option. So I thought to myself, perhaps I can get my own larger bottle to refill - great, Amazon has 5-litre bottles, but hang on, the price per litre is £5.67 (currently on offer- usual price £6.40) which works out more expensive than the 1.48l. So I’m now in a tricky position whereby I really like this product, but I’m not sure I can continue using it due to the price and the plastic waste I would be producing if I continued purchasing the 1.48l bottles each time.

Incredible! The smell is divine. Once dry, you can still smell the wonderful scent, but it's not too overpowering or heavy with product like some laundry liquid. Now I know this is good for me without harsh chemicals; this will be our new firm favourite to buy!!!

Brilliant with beautiful Smell !! Value for money

Love this product. Really cleans well coloureds without fading and stains removed in a quick wash!Smells fresh and not overpowering. Gentle on skin as I’ve used to hand wash too.A little goes a long way so great value for money and you don’t need a separate product to give it a fresh smell.Leakproof lid and not ‘gloppy liquid!Lasts for ages and easy to poor into the machine. My daughter introduced me to it and I very grateful.

I like this brand, The scent is pleasant and it rinses well. The only drawback is that when poured out, it tends to flow down the side of the bottle.

Love this detergent. Having used few other brands of eco friendly laundry detergents I can safely say that this detergent cleans well. No fading, no rash, just clean fresh soft and pleasant smelling laundry. My only problem is the price. It's too steep for my regular use. So, I may not be purchasing it anytime soon. I will be using my usual plant based detergents. Ecos or seventh generation or tide purclean.

Love the scent Lavender & Sandalwood! This product works well getting my clothes clean without damaging the colors or materials. No chemicals are left in my clothes to irritate my skin after they are laundered either! Would like a US distribution option to help save cost please. :)
