Sun Bum Daily SPF 50 Face Sunscreen Lotion - Travel Size, 1.7 oz

As someone that refuses to spend $40 on a 1 oz bottle of facial sunscreen, I decided to give this one a try. For some background, I have very oily olive skin. I've been using tretinoin for 6 years. Currently, I've been using the .14% of tret for the last year or so. With that said, it's interesting balancing the dryness of tretinoin with my oily skin. This sunscreen is fantastic. It doesn't make me more oily. The price point is good. No breakouts. Doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

I was kinda iffy to try it. A lot of reviews said it created a white cast, and during the summer having a lighter face while everything else is tan is not a cute look to me. I know I can use a skin tint but I have acne prone oily skin and would like to avoid using a tint as much as possible. I have used this for about a week now and I have not broken out like crazy, and there is no white cast! You gotta rub it in all the way and tap it in like you would any other moisturizer. It also leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated which is what I need otherwise I produce more oil if I’m too dry. My oily skin loves this a whole lot better than the Daily Gel. Don’t get me wrong the gel works great too! But due to its texture of feeling like a primer, it leaves me feeling extra greasy during warmer seasons which is why I bought this. I will say the price isn’t terrible. It’s about $2 more than the one I use to buy religiously but the downer of that one is it has a heavy white cast. Would recommend this, but definitely do a patch test first if you are acne prone.

This is my new fav! It only takes a little, it feels amazing on the skin and leaves a little glow once on the face. I use it with the tinted lip balm on my lips and cheeks for a natural glow with protection. I love it!

This product is very light on the skin. Convenient to carry in small bag. Highly recommend.

I really like the body and gel formulas in this line. This is a good addition, but not quite as good a fit for me. It is very lightweight and easily to apply, and comfortable on the skin. It's fairly shiny but not in a greasy or wet-looking way, more glowy than dewy; I tend to prefer a soft matte finish for my oily skin, but this one is workable and would probably be great for dryer folks. Unfortunately, it does move around a bit on the skin (according to my UV camera) and when it gets into my eyes it stings, which is very very common for chemical formulas from the US. I don't know if that will be an issue for people who aren't as sensitive as I am, but it's an important heads-up for those who are.

Love this sunscreen for my face! Not oily. Cannot really feel it, very light. I wear it under my foundation and also alone.

Love this brand. I have very sensitive skin and this is one of the only sunscreens that don’t irritate me. I have never used a sunscreen just for my face, so i was pleasantly surprised at how well it applied and protected my skin. I’m bad at putting sunscreen on, but i definitely apply it where it counts (face and tattoos lol). Loved how lightweight it is and how well it protected me from the sun. I am a changed person and will now be buying sunscreen not just for my body, but for my face

Great addition for my soccer players sports bag. Doesn’t run in her eyes when playing.
