I had to buy these shoes twice, because the first pair came with a manufacturing defect that put a permanent twist in the side of one shoe. The returns process was quick and easy, though, and it gave me an opportunity to size up to an 8.5. The size 8 wasn't really too small (I normally wear an 8, and the shoe fit just fine), but I'm wearing the shoes to an outdoor music festival, so I wanted to ensure good coverage on the bottoms of my feet as I'm outside walking around.The shoe style is really cute, but I have to agree with others that taking them on and off is a PAIN. The zipper stops just above the heel, so it's impossible to slip your foot out of the shoe without loosening the laces at the ankle...which means loosening the laces all the way up to the top, too. On top of that, if you don't have stick thin legs, the laces may seem a bit short--especially if you're trying to leave a little wiggle room, as the suede laces have NO stretch.However, I have a tip for those who are lazy like me: I bought a 100-ft spool of 1/8" SGT KNOTS Shock Cord in tan (through Amazon) and replaced the suede laces with it. I cut the shock cord a bit longer than the laces just for aesthetic purposes (I like longer "bows" at the top of the shoe), but since the bungee cord stretches to 180% of its "relaxed" length, it is MUCH easier for me to slip the shoes on and off, and it also helps with avoiding pinching my calves as I zip up the shoes. The color of the cord isn't a perfect match to the suede laces, but it matches the shoe just fine (see the picture for a comparison). I took off one star for having to spend an extra $20 on the cord, but it's definitely worth the added convenience!All in all a good purchase. I haven't worn the shoes outside yet, and I could see myself getting really hot in them, as they still cover up a good bit of your legs and the material isn't very breathable, but I'll update the review after putting them to the test in the hot Vegas weather.

Ok, I’ve always wanted these kinds of sandals but been too worried not trying on. I’m a 8.5-9 woman’s but always wear a 10 in sandals so I went with a 10 they fit amazing! They were super comfortable it’s ridiculous ! Only reason I gave 4 stars they are very hard to put on. The zipper at the bottom that goes over the heel was very hard to put on. That is legit my only compliant however I did already buy the tan ones lastnight so not too big of an issue.

Finally a gladiator that fits my skinny legs. I have no calves and love how these sandals looks like I have some without being loose. They actually fit around my legs no gaps. Mine are laced at the tightest. The laces are long enough to Accommodate a larger leg. They are adjustable to fit a much larger leg. The laces are not the best I would suggest getting bungee cord. I ordered the black and just ordered the lighter color. I can’t wait to get them. It is tricky to fit your foot into the sandals. Get the bungee cord that will help with that. Hope this helps. I ordered size 8.5 and fit true to size.

Everytime I buy anything offline I read the reviews. This sandel is very cute, different, and true to size. However, getting the sandle on was impossible (doesn't stretch) you need alot of patience. What made it easier for me was to untie the laces to at least my ankle it fit perfectly then I laced it back up. I'm an 8.5 shoe size thick thighs and big calves. I ran out of string when I got to my thighs so I pulled tighter and tighter the laces are still a little small but ties around the thigh not to uncomfortable though.

I would give it 5 stars for style and fit but it is so hard to put on and off that it makes for a frustrating experience. The back zipper is above the heel and leaves NO room to take on and off. It took me a half hour to get them on and same to get them off, I will get stretchy shock cord to replace the laces like the other reviewer suggested, so it gives room for on and off. Shame cause they are super cute!

Hard to get on and off. I mean incredibly HARD!!! Requires too much effort. You’ll be tired from simply trying to get this shoe on and off. Runs small. I got a 10 cause I’m a 10 in women but it fits like a 9.5. Not worth the purchase.

The shoes are beautiful I'm officially obsessed! The only reason why I'm giving 4 stars is because it was a struggle to put them on and remove them. It litterally took me what felt like forever to put them on & remove them
