Militado ML1868-2 39mm VK67 Chronograph Watch

The finishing on it is great, the dial looks great, all of the applied lume and indices are crisp, the polish on the hands is good. I like that the strap has a canvas outside for that nice canvas look but a leather interior to keep my sensitive skin from getting chafed. it's also pretty cool that the pushers for the Chrono feature actually have screw down crowns built in. I thought those were just aesthetic but those are actually functional. You have to unscrew them to be able to push the pushers in, and when you're not using them, you screw them down and they won't budge. All of the hands also line up perfectly except for the second hand subdial which is ever so slightly misaligned by roughly half a second. I'm not sure if it's a half second forward or a half second behind. All things considered, that does bother me a little bit but not nearly enough to do something about it like try to return it or open the watch up and take the hand off and realign it. I actually don't even look at the second hand that often anymore on watches except to adjust the time which you only have to do once or maybe twice a year depending on how OCD you are about it. I consider it to be a 5/5. Maybe 4.5/5 because of the second hand but Amazon doesn't have half stars.

Amazing quality for the price. All the features and specs of this watch are excellent for price. Frankly, even double the price would be acceptable. Despite the fact that it’s a no name brand. It’s amazing quality.

*7 months update - this keeps excellent time, I now own 2 of these and they are my favorite watches. I have taken both swimming several times, worked on heavy equipment, used splitting mauls and chainsaws, and gotten them covered in grease, diesel, and tree sap. They clean up easy and just keep going. If this had full c3 lume and a day/date complication (not available with this movement, I know) it would be the last watch I ever bought.* I originally ordered on Ali where it is usually considerably cheaper, but because it contains a battery it was returned before it left China. So I decided I wanted it bad enough to order through Amazon, and having worn it for a while now I think it was still worth the price increase for the security of actually receiving it and also having the ability to return it if there was any issue. My only other watch besides smart watches is an addiesdive MY-H2 automatic, so that's what I can compare it to. The militado has "pretty" lume, but it is terrible in comparison to the addiesdive. The addiesdive only takes a brief time in sunlight and is then freakishly bright even just stepping into the shade or walking indoors, and it lasts for 6+ hours which is convenient at night. The Militado has high quality paint, but it must have fewer layers, because even after a long time in the sun, it isn't very bright and lasts for very little time. The AR coating on the militado is not as good as the addiesdive, but is not bad enough to complain about, and may also be due to the different shape of the sapphire on the two. The large hand on the militado is the chrono hand, so it sits still on the watch unless the chronograph is running, while the 6:00 subdial is the main second hand. This is fine, but the large second hand is just slightly off center, only enough to tell at certain angles, but it is somewhat noticeable. Another purchaser might exchange it for a different one, but it's so close that it's just not worth the hassle to me. It's a beautiful watch. The matte case finish is great, the chrono buttons have a great click to them, and the hacking is flawless. The crown screws are well machined and don't hang up at all opening or closing. The band that comes with it is stiff and short, so if you have large wrists beware. It is comfortable to wear but I switched to a leather strap and I'm much happier with that. Of interest, the date version comes with wider, illuminated subdial hands, while the non date version does not. I would absolutely buy this watch again at about $100, it is worth every penny and I have no regrets despite the minor issues I have mentioned.

Absolutely love this watch! Real crystal lens, perfect size for my arm, not too heavy, quality craftsmanship! Yes the chronometer actually works. If I had one complaint is that they chose to use the small chronometer second hand as the normal watch second hand. The large bezel second hand is used for the chronometer, which is fine if you need to time seconds accurately. Previously had a Timex of similar size (military style) it was just cheaply made over priced garbage.

Very nice looking watch. Light and perfect size. Strap was ok, bit stiff. Nice stopwatch feel on the chrono buttons. But, the second and minute chrono hands were not aligned. Minute hand was on 0,5 minutes when zeroed. Second hand had a bit of play to it (which is ok) but always 1-2 seconds off. This is inacceptable so had to send it back. Refunding seems to take forever and you had to pay and ship it back yourself (I used UPS) so beware.

So far a month and a half in and doing great. Chronograph works fine, as well as the date feature. Timekeeping is excellent, haven’t noticed any significant loss. I also like how the chronograph and adjustment dials use threading to secure the buttons, so you don’t accidentally press one or adjust the time. The band has held up well.

Die Uhr ist nicht so schlecht. Sie gefällt mir schon. Leider ist das Armband sehr kurz und am Handgelenk erscheint die Uhr etwas klein. Die Stoppuhr nutze ich nicht, daher sind die verschraubten Drücker für mich nicht wichtig. Alles in Allem, nicht so schlecht.
