It contains material I had never come across before, and helped me see that a number of famous prayers, practises and sayings familiar to Muslims come to us directly through this beloved daughter of the Messenger of Allah. It gives access to her recorded words and example, including two lengthy sermons. It helped me learn more about the people surrounding this family- great people like Fizza, who for more than 20 years spoke only using the words of the Qur'an. It's a gripping read - in turns inspiring, disturbing and heartbreaking. It leaves me wishing to learn much more.
