Cocokind as a brand already makes me feel good because their formulas are clean and gentle, and this one is honestly perfect if you’re new to retinol or have sensitive skin. Absolutely love this stuff. Actually magic in a tube. With just a couple uses, I feel the texture of my skin has definitely improved. It is non-scented which is great for people with sensitive skin like myself. I tried Differin in the past and it wrecked my face for months. This is very effective and gentle on the skin. The ingredients help calm the skin while also clearing and gently exfoliating it. This is one of the best “drugstore” retinols I’ve discovered and it is definitely worth every cent. The packaging is small, sturdy, and simple which I appreciate so I can travel with it too.

My skin is very sensitive to retinols, extremely dry, and VERY prone to clogged pores and breakouts. A lot of retinols will completely destroy my skin barrier (think fire on your skin)—but not this!!! I am able to use this daily with only a slight increase in dryness and it does not break me out or clog any pores. It is yellow, texture is ‘silky’ and easy to distribute on the skin, absorbs quickly, and plays well with others! Absolutely will be re-purchasing. ***For reference, I was using first aid beauty’s retinol before, and this is a touch stronger—which i wanted—while still maintaining a gentle formula.
