Easily one of the most enjoyable mechanicals I've ever used. Pros: The low profile and moss switches are *phenomenal*. Smooth keypresses, but with enough feedback and required force to avoid a lot of miskeyed strokes. Great portability, fits comfortably in a travel bag. Bluetooth is solidly responsive, no connection issues. This is a full keyboard, with every key you're going to need (except Ctrl+Break), which is easily and acceptably dealt with by... Programability is simple and easy. Adding Ctrl +Break is mostly intuitive, the key is dependably interpreted by the o/s. Battery life is stellar. It'll last you at least a week between charges, using it as a daily driver. The variety of customization of light up for keypresses is fun, if not strictly speaking necessary. Build quality is solid-this can go in the bag of other accessories easily and without worry. Cons: It's is every key you'd ever want, and it's portable, however, I wish Nuphy had put in just a little space to separate sections. A quarter of an inch to separate F keys row (and the home/end/pgup/pgdn keys), and again with the number pad, would make this perfect without sacrificing portability. It is by no means a deal breaker, though, if you struggle to be accurate at speed without those gaps between sections of a keyboard, this might be an issue. The key covers themselves don't really shine through, and I wouldn't count of them for full night time typing if you need references.

It's surprisingly compact for a nearly full sized keyboard, more so in person than I expected. The entire profile is quite slim, but the keys have less travel but enough not be an issue when typing - if anything, it feels a bit more responsive that way. I have the moss switches - they are very tactile and clicky but perhaps not quite as satisfying as a full-sized blue, on the upside - they are quieter (they still very much sound mechanical, however). The colors are vibrant and look as good as in the photo. The plastic is a semi-matte and moderately grippy but not rubbery. The RGB works fine though I usually keep that off anyway - thankfully, it's entirely controllable from the keyboard itself. The connectivity using the 2.4 seems fine - my tower is close to the keyboard but under a desk, as such, my previous keyboards often missed strokes, but this one hasn't yet. The keyboard came with a fancy keycap puller, a very nice and quite long usb-c cable, the inner keyboard packaging is designed so that it's obviously intended to be an included dust cover, plus the manual is neat, short and to the point. Overall, it seems like it's a product the company actually cares about. Also, it came with stickers of an anime girl themed on the keyboard, done by an actual artist. Did not expect that. 10/10.

I have an Air75 V2 already, but missed my numeric keypad when doing office type tasks.. but liked it enough to get a larger one rather than a completely different keyboard. When discussing mechanical keyboards, switch choice is entirely subjective. My Air75 has Wisteria switches, this one has Moss. I found the Wisteria switches to be too light for my taste, too easy to accidentally depress when at rest on the home keys. The Moss keys are much better for me, as they have a higher initial spring rate. They are also a bit more muted, something I also find I like. I'm not a big RGB Keyboard fan, but this has the typical patterns, and apparently a firmware update has allowed these to be a bit brighter. I played with them for a few minutes then dimmed them completely like I did with the other one. Gripes... keep in mind that these comments apply to the Air75 as well, and did not stop me from buying the larger Air96... in wireless mode, this keyboard goes into 'sleep' mode after a few minutes at rest. When returning it to use, it tends to drop between 1 and 3 keystrokes before reconnecting. For gaming use this would be a deal breaker for me, but I use it wired on my gaming setup. For productivity type tasks I don't typically notice the issue, so I use the dongle for my productivity PC, and since I can switch between a total of 4 devices it's nice to use with my tablet for answering emails and such. My only other complaint is with the layout of the numeric keypad.. the zero key should be double width. I didn't notice this when I made my decision, but when entering spreadsheet data this has caused me issues due to the fact that I learned 10 key data entry years ago.

Great low profile keyboard. I highly recommend the moss switches if you like tactile feedback. Probably the closest to “pale green” switches from RK but in low profile. I replaced the keycaps with flatter Womiers since these were a little too curved for my liking.

This KB just totally and suddenly died on me. No conceivable reason. It doesn't work wired (USB) or wireless (Bluetooth or otherwise). No lights, nothing. I do get the Windows "ding dong" sound when I plug in the keyboard via USB and again when I switch it between wired and wireless using the little green slider switch, but that's it. This is ridiculous. I think it's past my time for a return/replacement and I am not happy or satisfied at all. DO NOT BUY!

This has been an interesting keyboard. I love the feel and sound of the keys. The lighting under the keys is very cool as well, I like how many configs there are for lighting. I’ve been able to successfully remap some keys after downloading the template for nuphy’s website. I’ve experienced several issues with repeated key, mainly when the keyboard has gone to sleep and I hit a key one time and it repeats for a long time. This was especially bad when I hit the delete key in my email box! Battery life is okay, a lot less than I’d prefer but it’s easy enough to plug it in. I’ve liked the experience with this board, and will continue to enjoy it. Not 100% sure if I’d buy it again after using it for a month now but it’s not so bad that I’ll return it or buy something else

Wow! What an improvement over the junky keyboard Apple is currently offering. The Apple board is advertised as "thin." But "thin" is not an advantage in any way. It is terrible for actually typing on. THIS on the other hand, is a dream. The keys have travel. There are spaces in between the keys allowing your fingers to feel where they are. The keys make noise. I'm in heaven. I can't believe Apple did such a poor job designing a keyboard. This is an ENORMOUS improvement! Get one! Worth mentioning: I don't care about (or use) wireless options. I'm at a desktop. Also, I have not remapped any keys. I'm on a Mac Studio M4 Max. All keys work properly including shortcuts, out of the box. If you just want a good keyboard for typing on, this one is a good one.

Es wurde mal wieder Zeit für eine neue Tastatur. Da ich mich in der Vergangenheit schon mit mechanischen Tastaturen beschäftigt habe, viel meine Wahl dann auch die Nuphy Air96 V2. Die Tastatur von Nuphy kommt wie die Tastatur selbst in einem schlichten aber sehr schicken und ansprechendem Design. Wichtig ist, dass es sich hierbei um keine Tastatur im ISO-DE (deutschem) Design handelt sondern im ANSI-US Layout. Wenn man das schreiben auf einer Tastatur bereits beherrscht und bestens verinnerlicht hat, ist die Umstellung jedoch kein großes Problem. Die Tastatur wird mit einigem Zubehör geliefert. Darunter sind zusätzliche Keycaps für ein paar der Funktionstasten in verschiedenen Farben. Weiterhin werden von jedem Switch der Low-Profil-Serie ein entsprechender Switch zum Ausprobieren mitgeliefert. Im Nuphy-Store können hier entsprechende Sets nachbestellt werden und mit dem mitgelieferten Werkzeug ausgetauscht werden. Zusätzlich kommen diverse Anime Sticker und ein Poster / eine Bedienungsanleitung. Nicht zu vergessen ein entsprechendes USB Kabel zum laden und ein Wireless-Empfänger. Die Tastatur ist sehr gut verarbeitet und ist optisch sehr ansprechend. Die Farbakzente der Keycaps machen diese Tastatur zu etwas einzigartigem. Ist habe mich für die Moos Switches entschieden. Dabei handelt es sich um Tactile Switches. Das heißt, man bekommt ein leichtes Feedback vor dem Erreichen des Endpunktes. Das schreiben ist sehr angenehm damit, bei längeren texten bieten sich wahrscheinlich jedoch andere Switches an, da die Moos-Switches einen doch recht langen und "harten" Anschlag haben. Ich habe mir für die Arbeit auch eine weitere Nophy bestellt, hier jedoch mit den Cowberry-Switches. Diese sind linear und benötigen etwas weniger Kraft. Ein Test steht noch aus. Die Nuphy lässt sich easy per Kabel, Bluetooth oder per 2,4GHz Empfänger verbinden. Somit lässt sie sich mit so gut wie allen denkbaren Geräten verbinden. Die Beleuchtung der Tastatur kann mit den in der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen Tastenkombinationen sehr individuell eingestellt werden. Hierbei kann unter verschiedenen Farben und Effekten gewählt werden. Ich ziehe jedoch die statische Beleuchtung vor. Die Beleuchtung ist gut, die Keycaps scheinen jedoch nicht durch. Dennoch kann man die Tasten im dunkeln gut erkennen. Aufgrund des hohen Preises habe ich hier einen Stern für die Kategorie Preis-Leistung abgezogen. Einige schwören auf die Tastaturen der Fa. Lofree. Diese konnte ich noch nicht testen, sehe jedoch aufgrund der guten Qualität der Nuphy keinen wirklichen Anreiz. Schän wäre, wenn man bei Amazon das Nuphy Zubehör bestellen könnte. Leider musste ich die Handballenauflage und die Schreibtischunterlage direkt beim Hersteller bestellen. Da die Lieferung hier direkt aus China kommt, sind die Versandkosten und die Lieferzeit damit leider recht hoch.

It’s a fantastic keyboard but they are few things that are worth mentioning. No GB layout but hopefully that can be resolved when extra keys become available to buy from their website, keyboard backlight is weak at maximum. It comes with full customization software via VIA website but you need to get the definitions from their support page which I struggled to find. All in all very happy, but I would go with quieter switches next time.

Not a VIA keyboard, just a fork. It's unacceptable to discover this after purchase.
