I bought this item over all looks like a great idea...love powe to money idea But ive wired every way i kmow how.. and i cant get it to show whole house power consumptiom can any ine tell me how i cam wire it to tell the power usage of a single braker line or how it can be installed in a rv maybe.. i think better installation instructions would make this product boom.. so any 1 that has this item please tell me how to wire this the right way it be grrat if ot will send it bk...thx ok after taking the time to figure out the wireing its not very hard to hook up any 120 volt line will work just pigie backed off an outlet live and n line and it works it will tell me when any poweris used in whole camper trailer. Put hall sencer on shore power line AAAAAA...

Clean display with touch controls for projects or general energy use monitoring. Comes with 2 coils to use with up to 120A so it can be used at a 100A breaker panel. I am using this to monitor electricity use in my shop so I made an adapter that connects to the output from the 20A breaker and it's been working well. I installed the display in a little enclosure and it has a clean look and makes it easy to see current energy use as well as accumulated use over time. You can enter in your cost per kwh and it will calculate energy cost for a given time. This may vary a little depending how rates work but it's been a great tool to help estimate energy costs.Another use for this meter would be to connect it to an extension cord and use it as a temporary monitoring tool for high energy appliances like a portable AC unit to help budget for electricity costs during different seasons.The installation is simple, even with the relay which is included and anyone with even a little wiring experience will have no trouble connecting this display. The navigation on the screen is simple, and the buttons are clearly marked to make it easy to scroll around, go home, or go back in the interface. Overall, a really nice tool for electricity monitoring, and a more permanent solution than one of those plug in monitors that normally don't give as much information and won't work for higher current applications.

Ich benutze diesen Energiemonitor um die Stromproduktion einer kleinen Fotovoltaikanlage (Balkonkraftwerk) zu messen. Das Teil ist dafür wirklich super geeignet. Ich persönlich finde es übertrieben dass ein Fotovoltaikwechselrichter eine WLAN- Verbindung braucht um die Daten in einer Cloud am anderen Ende der Weltkugel zu speichern, nur um zu sehen ob man gerade Strom produziert...Jedenfalls funktioniert es mit diesem Energiemonitor erstaunlich gut auch offline.Man kann den Energiemonitor einfach in einer vorhandenen Leerdose, z.B. anstelle einer Steckdose oder Lichtschalter, installieren. Natürlich sind Grundkenntnisse in Elektrotechnik vorausgesetzt um das richtige Kabel für die Strommessung zu erwischen.Der Strom wird zwar mittels einer Induktionsspule gemessen, die Messergebnisse sind aber relativ genau.Im Menü kann man einstellen ob sich das Display nach 1min, nach 5min oder garnicht ausschaltet.Entgegen meiner Befürchtung leuchtet das Display also nicht die ganze Nacht.Das Display zeigt die Spannung, die Ampere, den Leistungsfaktor und errechnet daraus die Leistung in Watt und speichert auch die Daten. Im Menü kann man die gespeicherten Daten aufrufen (als Diagramm oder in einer Tabelle) wieviel Kilowatt pro Tag oder pro Monat verbraucht oder in meinem Fall produziert wurden.Einziger Kritikpunkt meinerseits ist, dass die Tasten nicht beleuchtet sind und dass die Bedienung nicht immer intuitiv ist.Z.B. bestätigt man die Menüpunkte mit der gleichen Taste, mit der man auch das Menü aufruft. Das finde ich unlogisch, man gewöhnt sich aber dran.Aber insgesamt ist es für die 50 Euro die ich dafür bezahlt habe, ein wirklich super Gerät und für meine Zwecke perfekt!

Ein gut funktionierendes Teil zur Kontrolle des Energieverbrauches. In meinem Fall wird in Zukunft ein Mietobjekt mit den extrem hohen Energiekosten für die Heizung zusätzlich verrechnet.Wünschenswert währe wenn dieser Energiezähler sämtliche Daten auch noch per WLAN auf mein Handy übertragen könnte,.... dann wäre es optimal. Oder kennt jemand schon so ein Teil ?
