These snow socks for tires are a total win! I got them for my car, and they work like a charm in snowy conditions.Putting them on is a super easy so no complicated setup! They provide excellent traction, almost like magic, without the hassle of traditional tire chains. The 3D fabric really grips the road well and fits on my car perfectly. If you're dealing with winter weather and want an easy solution, these snow socks are a great choice. I'm impressed with how well they perform.

Better traction on hills
Snow chains are not allowed in my state. We don’t get a lot of snow typically, but when we do, roads can be treacherous for weeks until they are cleared. I wanted something similar to chains to assist on our steep, winding roads in bad weather. These are easy enough to take on and off and compact enough to keep in a roadside emergency box for winter driving. I would personally take them off for highway driving to extend the life but I suppose one could. I have just used these close to home as I don’t drive fast or far when roads are bad. They are easy enough to put on, an easier job for 2, but doable with 1 if you’re methodical about it. I like these socks because they are quiet and damage free for both my tires and driveway. These socks comply with my strict state laws while giving me the peace of mind of chains.

Good grip
I used these on wife's CRV in a fresh snow fall. Was curious if they would interfere with anti-lock braking. They did NOT. Everything was fine. Went 20mph and down some hills. Braked and felt good grip. Her front wheel drive needs these for light snow and ice. Not too hard to stretch over the wheels. A bit like fitted sheets according to her. Good alternative that isn't going to beat up the car or tires. The other brand never listed her Honda tire size, so I went with LARGE on these. Fits well.

These "socks" seem like a great alternative to standard chains.
It didn't freeze or snow this past week or so like I was expecting, so I haven't had a chance to actually test these things in that setting. I did however practice putting them on my Ranger p/u and I was impressed at how easy they were to install. They are very light weight and manageable by yourself and I only had to move the truck once to fully install them. You just pull them down from the top of the tire and then roll over that section to complete the procedure. and it's easy to judge how far to move to be in place for the second step. They fit tight enough that I see no reason for them not to do their job with ease. A common sense approach to the equation says they will work, at 25 mph. That same common sense tells you that if you push it, they just might shred themselves. So logically you won't use these to get all the way to work downtown from the 'burbs, but they will get you out of your neighborhood onto a highway that has been salted and is safe to get you downtown. Which is why these are so useful, it only takes a few minutes to uninstall them and be on your way to work on a safe highway. And repeat as needed to get home safe. These socks look like they can handle short trips at 25 mph as the seller suggests, they appear to be well made for their purpose, stitching is solid looking, the elastic looks durable. I'm really hoping to get to put them to the test, but just like auto insurance , it's best I have them but don't use them.So with your safety most key in mind, I will recommend these "socks". Hope you find this helpful, and safe, this winter. But remember to use your own judgement about when the roads ahead are truly safe and I won't mind if you throw my recommendation out the window into the cold beyond. As a disclaimer: always remember these are only my opinions. It's your life and property, protect them as you see fit, not based on my opinions and review. And stay safe as you share the road with others doing the same.

Better than chains, easier to put on
I drive a 2017 Chevy Volt. We got about 6 inches of snow with some freezing rain mixed in. I live about 2 miles up a road with a pretty significant gain in elevation. The road had not been plowed and only a few people had driven on it. Not only was the traction better with the snow socks than with snow chains, they were much easier to put on. So easy that I figured they’d come off as soon as I started driving. They stayed on the tires and I made it up my hill without issue. I would strongly recommend these to anyone looking for traction devices.

Amazing!
Got these just in time! Only a minute to put on per tire. Super great traction! WAY better than any chains. Chains take forever and aren't smooth like these. I highly recommend for any vehicle even for some extra security for AWD!

WAY too big
My tractor tires measure 14 inches across using a tape measure. Bought the "small" size per the measurement chart. The "small" product is about twice the size it needs to be for my 14 inch tires. I tried folding down and clamping all the excess fabric but all it did was slip and clump in the axle.. not gonna work. If there's some hokus pokus to measuring for compatibility it would be nice if there were more explicit details here before we buy it.
