Our garden pots are made from a classic and time-tested terracotta clay. Using the classic technique of majolica painting, we dip each hand-made terracotta pot in a glossy white glaze and then hand paint each design. Inspiration for the patterns is drawn from ancient Persian Isnic pottery and blue and white tiles from Holland. Traditional earthenware planters are perfect for outdoor use as the porous nature of the clay allows the plants root system to breathe, letting moisture in and out. Each plant pot has a drainage hole for optimum health. To use indoors, simply add a glazed saucer or plate to protect your counters from moisture. Earthenware planters will withstand mild winter weather. For the longest lifespan we recommend bringing them indoors during freezing weather.
