We had a great time putting these together with our daughter. They're smaller than we had anticipated but they're fun and a great way to spend some time with your kids. There were two different bird houses in the kit, different shapes, and plenty of paint with leftovers. They were simple and easy to put together. Be sure to follow the instructions otherwise it can be difficult to put the strings on with the little windchime. Enjoy!

This was definitely easy to assemble and the kids loved it. They made the bird houses easily and then added the glue (which got a bit messy). But they liked to make them and then paint and decorate them. The good thing is that the glue didn't have to dry before they could paint them. The paint provided dried quickly which was nice. The kids weren't as interested in the wind chimes, so those got pushed to the side. They liked painting the rainbow/flower but weren't as interested in attaching the chimes.The birdhouse itself is quite small. It's about the size of a 20 oz plastic cup (this is what I had used for water nearby so that's my comparison, about six inches high). I don't think there is any way a real bird would fit in this house or use it in any way, but for kids, it makes a cute gift and will look cute hanging outside. I think this would be perfect for kids from ages 5-8. The younger end might need a litlte assistance, but 7-8 year olds can likely do it themselves. This also will likely keep them entertained for about 30-40 minutes.

Mailed as a birthday gift they liked it a lot was given to a kindergarten student small amount of help is needed guidance when assembling.

Great for a kids craft, build bird houses, paint houses, then attach wind chimes to bottom of houses. You get 2 sets of 6 paints, 2 brushes, 2 bird houses, tube of glue. Paint is easy clean up.

This is a cute kit to have my toddler make some personalized gifts for valentines day!

My nieces were extremely happy while painting and making these little house. Glad I got this, they were so entertained by these. Nice afternoon.
