JYfeel1 1/4 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Curling Iron Brush with Dual Voltage for Travel, Suitable for Long and Medium Hair (Black)

This is a curling iron brush. It is *NOT* a dryer. I'm not sure why the other reviewers describe this as a blow dry brush as the product I received looks exactly like the packaging one of the reviewers shared.I am reviewing this as what it is meant to be: essentially a narrow barreled round curling brush. In the instructions it says this device heats to 400º F within 60 secs. It does heat up rather fast, I cannot tell you if it's the full 400º but it is certainly hot.The bristles are like a firm boar bristle, I am 100% that they are not boar but if you've ever used a boar bristle brush (great for shiny hair) you know what I mean. These are likely synthetic bristles. They do a good job of "brushing" the hair and making it appear a bit shinier. Much like a real boar bristle would.The heating element performs exactly as anticipated. In the late 80's and early 90's these sort of curling iron brushes were fairly popular, often with big separated bristles sort of akin to a wet brush. So I am familiar with the use of similar products since I am from that era :)The curling brush creates a lift at the root. If you have flat, fine hair you may welcome this functionality. I love it because I am recovering from a bad hair dresser incident and am looking for a new hair dresser and am in dreaded color grown out stage at my roots, my highlights look terrible and my roots are *SHOWING*, the roots are large & in charge. This brush did a great job of lifting that heavy rooted hair and making my blonde highlights and color stand out more at the crown. The remainder of my hair is pulled up in a clip so I really just played around with that front crown portion. I am pleased with how this brush refined the hair so it was less messy and looked a bit more poofed.I am really happy with this brush. It performs ONLY at one temp. It comes with a travel bag that fits the iron well. It comes with a heat protective glove and a little long handled brush (I assume to take out hairs from the bristles). Not sure I'll use either of those. But I will definitely use this curling brush again. I rather liked the effect!So either I should be upset that I don't have that functionality in other reviews or there is something missing in the translation in reading these reviews. This is definitely NOT an air blowing brush. This is simply a curling iron type of brush.

This heated brush does what it promises: heats up very fast and is easy to use. I am not the best at styling, but I was able to de-frizz my hair and smooth it out using this brush. I REALLY like the swivel power cord. Honestly this is the best bonus feature of the piece--no tangling and twisting up of the cord. My hair dryer is so coiled around itself it is almost impossible to use these days, but this brush is not only smaller and lighter, but the cord moved around as I used it and did not curl around itself. I used this on damp/slightly wet hair, not full on from the shower wet hair. I don't think you can use this to actually *dry* hair, it is strictly for styling. I can't comment on the international power feature, but I don't anticipate traveling abroad with it, so I am not concerned about that anyway.

I like this heated hair brush because it is easier to style my hair rather than busting out the hair dryer. I honestly hate using the hair dryer. This one help style my hair and it saves so much more time. I don't know how quick it does to use it on wet hair. I don't know if you can use it on white hair but I normally allow my hair to naturally dry and then I will style it. Which is what I did with this hairbrush and it worked great.

There isn't much to this thermal brush. You plug it in, it gets hot, and you wrap you hair around it. It does not have a blower on it. this brush is basically a curling iron with bristles. This thing works great on my hair extensions. It helped me make a frizzy extension, smooth and silky so I can re-curl the ponytail extension. There isn't any heat setting. It's just off and on. It does what you need it too without any fancy settings.

Super excited to use . Overall performance is outstanding. The power of the blower can be felt 5 to 10 steps away. Easy to use and grip. Goes right through the hair to detangle.
