Not delivered..... Now delivered a day late
The media could not be loaded. At this moment in time I have given 1 star. This item was promised for delivery on the 2/7/24. by 8pm at the latest. BUT, UPS as failed to deliver Now informed will be delivered on 4/7 24. NOT good enough. I have fruit waiting to be jammed and now I have to refer to my old pan. If and when I receive the pan I will right another review on the product. Today the 3/07/24 I can now give an update of this pan. It came at lunch time while I was making jam, After the batch was done I decided to use this Brand new Jam Pan. tested it first which holds 8ltrs. After using it the remainder of jam making I was very impressed. holds the heat well, handle not hot to hold and cleans very well and easily. I did blackcurrants recipe 1.8kg fruit, 2.7kg sugar and 1.7 water. when reaching boiling point the mix reached the top of pan. had to turn down heat by one then back again to control mix coming over the pan. I would prefer the pan was another 2" taller or a 10 ltr pan would have been Ideal. All in all the pan just about coped ( have to reduce mix next time, ) My last pan was 4 litres Aluminium 70 years old and still going made by Swan. so I up graded it to this one. All though I bought it with wonky handle the pan is great. I now have given 5 stars for the product but only 1 star for delivery company. I highly recommend this pan. Next up more jam and toffee making.

Good jam maker
Made a lovely batch of 2k strawberry Jam. Did not stick to the bottom and pot easy and light to move.can’t wait to make some raspberry jam next

A little heavy for me to lift
The pan is rather heavy for me to lift since my hands were injured in falls. This is not a problem. Once on the hob it stays sturdily in lace until my marmalade or jam is made and bottled. Then it is lifted into the sink to be cleaned and sterilised.

Wonky handle barely noticable. Thick, solid, encapsualted aluminium base

Excellent item
This pan is light, easy to clean (provided you don’t burn the jam) and good to look at. Very pleased with it.
