Everything we were looking for
With the $20 off promotional I paid 84 dollars each. I ended buying 3 to cover our luggage needs. The quality is fantastic for the price. You can fit plenty of gear inside of the duffle and the drop duffle can be unzipped inside to make one huge compartment.Pros- huge- nice colors and material- very lightweightCons- possible zipper issues in future ( don't get the warm fuzzy that I do with YKK zippers )- doesn't stand up on their own emptyOverall very pleased with my purchase not sure on longevity as we've only made 1 weeklong trip with them.

Sturdy Drop Bottom Bag with Side Pockets and Wheels
Great sturdy good looking back. The drop bottom compartment is good for clothes you don't want creased. Plenty of room in the top compartment for everything plus more. The side pockets and one front pockets are ideal for packing toiletries etc. This bag is extremely large and when packed is just huge though it still meets airline bag dimension specifications. Great for travel especially if you are not a light packer, though could be inconvenient if you have to travel on the subway or bus to and from your destination.

Useless as luggage, probably fine as a duffle bag for Godzilla
I bought this 'suitcase' thinking it was the orange version of my husband's that I liked a lot. As soon as I opened the box I realized it was definitely not the same one but my trip to Australia was the next day so I didn't have time to exchange it. I prayed it would make it at least TO Australia given that the materials are not as high quality as my husband's green bag. It made the trip but using it just got on my last nerve. Here are the pros/cons:Pros:- Very lightweight bag, so if you're a light packer you won't have to worry about schlepping a heavy bag through the airport or going over your weight limit- Compartments are great, just like my old High Sierra duffle. This is probably my favorite feature of these bags.- The bright orange color is fantastic...easy to see/pick out on the luggage turn styleCons:- Does NOT stand up on its own EVER. Empty, semi-full or full, it WILL fall over, every time. This means you can't do normal travel things like talk to a gate agent without either holding the bag or laying it down (not fun) or pull out your I.D./passport out of your backpack while also trying to keep the bag upright. Forget trying to go to the restroom with this thing. Since it doesn't stand up on its own, you'll have to lean it against the back of the stall door and thanks to the wheels it will just roll on down. I seriously can't tell you how annoying this is in so many situations.- The bottom compartment (where the frame is) holds virtually nothing...maybe some flattened t-shirts but the depth is so shallow that you won't be able to put much in there. The product photo is so deceiving because truly, it's maybe 2-3 inches high. In my old High Sierra duffle the bottom compartment has a lot of depth so you can put things that require a sturdier compartment like shoes, toiletries, blow dryer, etc. The top area is where the majority of this 'suitcase' is so if you want something really protected you'll have to wrap it in a ton of clothes.- Based on the point above, you can NOT put anything breakable in this bag if it's going on an airplane.- The materials are very thin. I was really surprised at this. The bag has almost no structure. This also means that when you travel ALL of your stuff will fall towards the bottom of the bag, leaving a big 'empty' spot near the top. This happens with all luggage to some degree but it's really bad with this bag. I even use e-Bags packing cubes (best thing ever, btw) and everything was still squashed.Basically you want this bag for only a few particular situations:1) You are only taking it in and out of the car (not on a plane where it's going to get beat up)2) You are only packing soft items like pillows and need next to zero structure.3) You don't need a bag that can stand on its own. You are probably 12 feet tall and have giant man hands and can carry this thing like a normal duffle bag.If the above three requirements do not meet your needs, do not get this bag. On a side note, after my trip to Australia I had to fly to NYC so I borrowed the awesome High Sierra bag that I originally wanted, the one my husband has. Well it got mangled on my trip. The frame of the suitcase got permanently bent and the base of telescoping handle pulled out of the luggage frame/fabric. My husband had used it only twice on short flights with no issues but now he can only use it on car trips. I feel bad that my flight is the one that ruined his bag. And what happened to my original High Sierra bag you may ask? That one lasted a big longer but the main zipper came apart after a couple of years. On its maiden voyage the top compartment essentially ripped open leaving it useless (I hadn't even packed anything in it, it just ripped). In case you're wondering, it's the High Sierra Drop Bottom Duffle (medium gray with neon green wheels). All in all after owning several High Sierra bags I've learned this: the designs of their bags are fantastic (in theory) but the *execution* and materials are crap. Things break and fall apart way too early into ownership and my husband and I are sadly done with this brand. We both travel frequently for work and have gone through many brands of luggage. From this point forward we are only buying eBags. TravelPro is what most pilots and flight attendants use and those bags are great, too. I had one for years.Hope this helps.

This bag got a work-out
We took this bag on a 5-month trip, involving numerous flights, bus and train rides. The roller mechanism is sturdy and worked well through the entire trip. The zippers were strong as well, however, due to the soft-side construction, the zippers were sometimes hard to work unless one carefully held the sides of the bag up so they didn't collapse and get snagged in the zipper. Also, when using the handle, the bottom of the bag got repeatedly scuffed and tore open a bit. A scuff patch on the bottom would help prevent wear and tear. Plenty of storage.

Wheels fall off in two months
Very hard to contact Sierra Store no contact information. This duffel went on three round trip airline trips and two road trips and didn't hold up at all. Now I am working on warranty issues. Too much time spent on luggage.

Duffel bag with some of the best backpack features, great concept, smart design, good result
Excellent quality, lots more features than competitive bag available at local specialty store. Very light weight, numerous pockets for keeping things organized, durable wheels, heavy duty zippers, straps and handles. For all of that, the price was also very reasonable. This bag will not get a lot of heavy use so we expect it to last a long time.

This is a great bag that fits as much as a large suitcase ...
This is a great bag that fits as much as a large suitcase but is a lot easier to pull. It has numerous pockets and stands out at the airport when at the claiming area. It is amazing how much you can put in there. Also; the Seller provided excellent service.Update: This is still an awesome bag. It has not deteriorated at all. It is super easy to maneuver although it does not stand up alone. It needs to be put flat on the ground or be leaning against something. It it worth the trade-off.

Really nice duffel
This is a really nice duffel bag. I has a very large bottom compartment and I particularly like the end compartments for shoes and quick access items. The front pocket is fairly large and would be perfect for power cables and such. The handle is nice with some strong velco and I really like the snaps to hold the bottom tighter and provide some compression if needed. The bottom of the top section also zips out which is nice so you can use it like a regular duffel if you desire. The handle is sturdy and the wheels roll smoothly. My only complaint is the price seems a little high, but either way I cannot find another duffel this nice anywhere local, so I will be ordering another for an upcoming trip out of the country. I do wish it had the backpack straps that some of the other High Sierra bags have, but it does not :( Overall I am very pleased.
