Top class little practice amp. Really can’t fault it for the price. Loud enough. Bluetooth Connectivity. Clean sound. Has a Distortion button. Good battery life. What’s not to love?

Bought for violin practise and it does this perfectly for such a small speaker.

This is a good little amp which is great without having to lug a big amp around. I can use it on both my electric guitar and electric ukelele. The sound level is fine without being overly loud. The fact that it uses a rechargeable battery is another plus. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it doesn't have many effects. For a couple of quid more I have now bought a Valeton rushead Max pocket sized headphone amp which has more effects and, using headphones allows you to play silently. Having both is a great combination.

It's a nice looking little speaker. The guitar amplifier option works well for little practise sessions. Bluetooth connectivity is very fast, stable and easy to use. You're not going to shake the walls with this, but then you wouldn't expect to. However I would have liked it to have a bit more bass. A decent value for money amp that's worth it for playing music alone.

I got this because it's cute, pink, small, inexpensive, and I needed something to kick around the house [finally, I can leave my main rig set up in the studio]. I would have been happy if it was "just ok", but it's surprisingly fantastic! I'm honestly impressed with how good it sounds for the tiny size. It doesn't have the massive low end of larger speakers, but it has enough bass that it still sounds good. The built in overdrive sounds fine but your fav OD pedal might serve you better. Luckily this thing loves pedals! You'll want an EQ pedal if you prefer a mid-scooped tone, otherwise the tone knob works just fine. The battery seems good as far as I can tell. It has a nice little charging light that turns off when the battery is full. 10/10, would recommend to anyone who needs an affordable amp that likes pedals and doesn't need to compete with the volume of an acoustic drum kit.

I have owned the Joyo 5 W mini amp for a year and a half. I was surprised at how good the sound quality was. It continues to function perfectly well. In a smaller space the volume is adequate, it does start to distort if the volume is cranked up too high. I recently bought a Flatson FBA-10 Guitar Amp, 10W Mini to compare. The Flatson is a little larger and quite a bit heavier. It is louder, but at the volume that is louder than the Joyo it distorts more, so it's not really an improvement and I find that the Joyo actually has a nicer tone. A great product for its intended use - I recommend it.
