let me tell you about this Jetboil Flash Camping Stove, man, it's a game-changer for outdoor adventures. I took this bad boy to a music festival, and let me tell you, it was a lifesaver. You know how those festivals can be, a real test of survival sometimes! First of all, this thing does exactly what it says on the tin. Boiling water for freeze-dried camping food? Check. Brewing up that essential morning coffee? Double check. And it does it FAST. I mean, I was seriously impressed with how quickly it got that water boiling, like, instant gratification in the wilderness, my friends. Now, here's the kicker, it's a fuel-sippin' machine. You wouldn't believe how efficient this thing is with its fuel consumption. It's like it's been practicing mindfulness or something. It means you can spend less time worrying about running out of fuel. Sure, it might cost a bit more than some off-brand options, but let me tell you, this is one of those cases where you absolutely get what you pay for. Quality, efficiency, and reliability are worth every penny when you're out there in the wild. So, do yourself a favor, invest in the Jetboil Flash, and you'll be a happy camper.

The jetboil is amazing! It's lightweight and compact which makes it the perfect backpack companion. I originally purchased the jetboil after my first camping experience with my children. After trying for 45 minutes to start a fire with drenched wood, just to make coffee so I can cope with the mayhem that's about to happen...I knew there had to be a better way. Now I'm no rookie, but when you have 3 children bouncing around in the tent: preparing a fire, waiting for the water to boil, and then preparing coffee is quite the undertaking *Enter JetBoil* That's where this handy guy comes in! I can now make coffee faster than I can drain my bladder in the morning. JetBoil heats the water so fast it would give Flash a run for his money! That's not even the best part! That was all just "base camp". On the trail, carrying the jetboil is like carrying a cooking pot, stove, propane tank, french press (added attachment), and mug all at the same time! And it all fits inside the mug!!!!? Does it get any better than that???? Seriously though....if you camp, hike, go on long car trips, or anything else where you'd think to yourself "man I could really go for some coffee/tea right about now..." Then look no further and buy this, you won't be disappointed! P.s. The french press attachment is amazing! It used to suck....but jetboil fixed that with the new silicone ring model. P.p.s. the jetboil is the perfect size for a pack of ramen noodles but before you add the noodles to the boiling water, turn the burner way down or off.

This thing is great: completely self-contained, sturdy, lightweight, and super easy to use. Assembly and disassembly are a breeze, all the parts snap or screw together and there's only one way they fit, you can't mess it up. The heat indicator on the side is incredibly obvious: orange = boiling. The piezo sparker means you don't have to carry a lighter or worry about wind conditions. They tell you to light the stove before putting the mug on, but frankly that's dumb and I'm more likely to tip it over that way, I just light it with the mug already on, it works fine. The insulation and handle on the side are very effective, I can pour boiling water without gloves. The lid also helps tremendously with this, the pour spout and venting is very well designed and even a clumsy guy like me can't miss with it. Also, this thing is *FAST*. We're talking 0 to boiling for a cup of water in like, 60 seconds. You will never need to have this thing on for more than about 3 minutes, even when it's full. Combine this with the "just add boiling water, eat from the pouch" freeze-dried camping meals, and you have a way to make dinner in the woods in under 5 minutes, that packs down small and has no dishes, just fold up the bag and lick the spoon clean. Absolutely ideal.

Absolutely outstanding performance product. Boils water in about a minute. I have over 40 years experience in expeditions to the most remote areas of the planet, where your life depends on the gear you carry and I’m telling you this is the very best. The igniter works first time every time and the preset on the gas valve makes it a no-brainer. The preset valve is extremely important it will keep the valve from freezing up during operation unlike “knockoffs”. Because it is extremely efficient and Jetboil brand fuel (highly recommended) burns completely it reduces the weight you need to carry. Really easy to clean and the “non-stick” surface is extremely durable that doesn’t flake off again unlike knockoffs. As far as price goes remember you get what you pay for and this is an excellent value for the money (especially considering your life may depend on it). In addition I highly recommend the use of Jetboil utensils, they will not damage the cooking surface and handles extend for cooking and retract for eating. My new favorite camping product! This thing is amazing. I bought the flash unit. It’s incredibly lightweight. I boiled water so quickly that I used almost no fuel. The orange water temperature display is so handy, I used to have to stick my finger in my old water pot to check the temp, now I know when it’s ready with no doubt. And it creeped me out having my dirty, camping hands in my clean water. When it all stores away, I don’t like the smell of the fuel so I used a zip lock baggie and I was able to fit everything inside, it’s tight but it works. I love the cup included on the bottom. It protects the bottom by covering it. Having the igniter on the unit is awesome, I love not having to search for a lighter. My only complaint was that the bottom cup doesn’t stay on tight. I used hair ties to go over the entire unit to keep it on so it’s not a huge issue for me. I did a lot of research for my paddleboard camping trip and this was highly recommended. Great product!!

Bought this for a cross country trip, and it worked great. It is compact, lightweight and easy to use. We only used it a few times on the trip, as we found we preferred restaurants to our camping food, but even on the tailgate of our truck in the wind, it delivered boiled water for our meal when we needed it. After the trip, we put it in the closet and forgot about it until a few months later when the power went off in the middle of the night. Woke up to no power, and the kitchen is all electric. We thought we’d have to drive fifteen minutes into town to get coffee - but then remembered the Jet Boil in the closet. In minutes we had boiling water and easily made coffee using the pour over method with our loose leaf tea strainer. The Jet Boil Saved us a grouchy morning for sure. I am glad we have it for trips, and now as part of our emergency back up supplies too. Worth the money just for that.

Someone purchased a jetboil all-in-one cooking system for me and I was blown away. This purchase is a gift for someone else as a result and I am hooked. The engineering on this product is next level. The burner, boiling container, and protective outer layer of the container is purpose built and it works. The burner is easy to light and reliable in alpine, windy conditions. The container fits on the burner with 2 notches that do their job of keeping the burner and container together without making it overly cumbersome to connect. Simple and effective. The outer cover of the container works perfectly to prevent you from burning your fingers on a too-hot-to-touch container. The material works in insulating the boiled contents (water, soup, etc) and has a finger strap to make for easy, secure handling. The container also has a lid that is perfectly fitted so that you can keep the heat in while also having a opening for sipping that works well for boiling and making instant coffee for example. The most impressive part of this perfectly integrated product is the speed of the boil. It is just minutes. On my last camping trip I also brought my coleman stove burner as a backup just in case since it was my first experience with Jetboil. The overall user experience plus crazy fast and easy boil made me a huge fan - and I have purchased other products since. My only complaint (not impacting my star rating here) is the cost of fuel - see a separate review on that. Please Jetboil don't ruin the perception of your brand with overcharging for fuel; your products are too good for that.

Boil speed is faster than other modes of cooking we have normally brought camping which can really come in handy when your sore, hungry, and need some tea or food quick and can't get a fire going due to local fire prevention efforts. 3 out of our party of 8 on our backpacking trip brought our jet boils and we were able to get the whole camp fed pretty easily in very little time. It's not ultralight by any means, but it's well worth packing in for a hot meal and coffee in remote places. The larger size does allow you to store some of the accessories AND travel sized eating untesils inside the unit- though I'd recommend wrapping them in cloth to protect the inside of the pot, just in case. Really great tool.

Love how compact and lightweight the jet boil stove is can not wait to use this on the trail. We test fired the stove in the kitchen and it worked perfectly. Boiled water in just under 3 minutes.
