Postsaver First Impression
Product is easy to use and was better than I expected. Heat shrinking the wrap melted the bitumen backing to create a good seal around the post so water from above ground can’t penetrate. I expect that this product will do what it says and protect that crucial area where rot occurs.

A must for fence post
Brilliant and easy to use, you can see when you put post in that they will do as they say.Approx 20 year guarantee manufacturer states

For a long-lived fence post
There's cheaper and slightly quicker to apply alternatives, but given the number of recommendations and reviews, and the rotted fence and posts I was rebuilding was small, it seemed silly not to use them. Only give 4 out of 5 stars because I can't say for definite these will preserve the posts for longer. I really hope so as they're bedded in about 20 inches of concrete and I don't want to dig that out again!

Fast delivery and good price.
Very happy.

Good but a little flimsy
These are a great idea, and seem to work, but I’d like to have seen more bitumen and a slightly stronger wrapper. I’ll increase ratings if they last. Go ahead and buy them though as they are likely to be better than not using them

Perfect for the task
This was a very easy product to use. I have never done this type of job before, resetting a garden fence post, and this worked perfectly to protect the wood from rotting. Also, the item was delivered two days early. Perfect, thank you.

Brilliant Idea
I think these are a brilliant idea easy to apply with a heat gun more difficult with a blow torch Time will tell how good the are they protect the part of the post that is just above ground to a about 9 inches does below ground this is the area where posts riot fairly quickly even if tantalised wood is used.

Good bit of kit
Really easy to use and apply, great idea for my garden which is very heavy clay, hope they will extend the life of my posts for a few years ! If you Google the fitting instructions the manufacturers say you can't use a heat gun, i 100% did with no issues at all, keep them out of the direct sun when you fit them as they will start to soften making them hard to slide into position

Excellent post protection where it counts.
Easy to apply. Robust construction and superior adhesion to dry timbers. Good value for the money.

Good product but needs better instructions and easier installation.
This is a great product but the shrink-wrap behaves in an odd way. Sometimes it billows out instead of shrinking, so it is hard to tell whether you have overheated the plastic or not heated it enough. Meanwhile the adhesive inside can completely liquify while you are shrinking the plastic, making it hard to use a brayer to smooth it down. Maybe my technique is bad. Also be aware this is a wrap, not a sleeve, and it is not as long as the sleeves. I would suggest using the sleeves they sell instead if you have a standard 4x4 post. Lastly, the instructions are kind of vague and say to use the product only on a "dry post" (which pressure treated posts never are) or failing that to "spot dry" the post before use. It does not explain what spot drying is.

I recently had the pleasure of using Postsaver’s Post-Wrap product, and I can't recommend it highly enough! Within minutes, you can have your posts wrapped and ready to withstand the elements. What really sets Postsaver apart is its effectiveness. The Post-Wrap is designed to prevent rot, which is a common issue with wooden posts exposed to moisture. After using it, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in post deterioration. The wrap forms a durable barrier that keeps water, soil, and other corrosive elements at bay, ensuring your posts stay strong and upright for years to come.In summary, Postsaver’s Post-Wrap is a game-changer for anyone dealing with fence posts. It’s easy to install, highly effective, and provides peace of mind knowing your investment is protected. Don’t hesitate to give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

Use patience while applying.
The package says, "Do not store in direct sunlight" or something like that. I completely agree! Didn't realize the sun had reached where I had them. It wasn't ruined but I did have to pull the individual wrap apart from itself to open it up.I used these on 20 4"x4" posts. I was able wrap the post with overlap on 1.5 sides. I used a DeWalt 20v Heat Gun for this. Got 3 posts done per 8Ah battery. Took about 10 minutes per post. Used a 4" roller to help press down the wrap. The first one I wrapped the post and tried to pull it as tight as I could then pulled the sticker tape off and proceeded. This did not work well. The last 19, I placed the wrap over the post and let it hang on the side away from me. It's already pretty sticky so I just used the roller to hold it in place while I used the heat gun to get part of it to heat up and stick. I then did the rest of that side and turned the post to do the next side pulling tight each time to make sure it layed flat. This was the easiest way I found to do this.I would recommend these and hope they do add life to my fence posts.

Good project
Good product but here a a few helpful things. Watch when burning or you will melt the outer plastic and do not leave them in the sunlight, especially if it is still folded over on itself because it gets tacky easily.
