I removed the carpet and install new vinyl plunk flooring. The door-floor gaps became larger and old guide can't cover the gap. I purchased this and it successfully covered the gap.

I needed to have something that would keep my by-pass closet doors from banging into each other - the Grovers Home Solutions Universal Sliding Closet Door Floor Guide Bracket does the job well.The doors were cut down during a prior carpet install and now with new carpeting and padding (that is not as thick), a long bracket was needed to replace the shorter one previously used. The doors are painted white, so having a white color for the bracket was preferred. The Grover's bracket met that need too.The install was easy - just a couple of screws into the wooden floor under the carpet.The brackets seem durable and should serve the need for many years.

The slots could be wider.

These guide brackets are a great upgrade to the contractor grade guides that come with the house. Occasionally, the doors may "hop" the tracks so these taller guides are a great fix for that issue. I'm not sure we needed a 5 pack but this was a great value so they're there if we need them.

Yes! I'm so happy to have found these! A pair of my indoor sliding barn doors have a gap of about 1.5 inches, so the I was needing a taller floor guide than the one that came with the doors. I tried several, and this is the first one that is tall enough! My doors slide through it smoothly. It was easy to install and the material is thick and sturdy. Mine did not include screws, but I have some that I can use.
