I have god-awful frizzy hair, and I left this conditioner in my hair for about 20-30 minutes while I was washing my hair. Holy crap, it's amazing; after air/towel drying, my hair'd normally be scraping my retinas. With this conditioner, my hair has been the least frizzy it's ever been without being heat treated, and super soft. The best part is: At the price I bought it for, it's one of the best purchases I've ever made, as it does NOT take too much of this conditioner to work. (I bought it for $3.61 through Vitacost) This thing is bound to work SERIOUS magic when placed under a dryer for 10+ minutes. Soooooo happy~!!~*~The price has doubled through Vitacost recently, but even then, it is still a great and long lasting product that is worth the cost.

Definitely made my dry ends more smooth but it didn’t make my hair soft. I’d definitely buy again when my ends are frazzled!

This conditioning infusion can be felt immediately as it is applied, to smooth and enrich fine hair. It should be left in for a few minutes, so I wash my hair, apply the creme, and continue with my shower. I even leave a bit in my hair at the end. I really like the feel, and have found no regular commercial product that feels so rich, and leaves my fine, curly hair as smooth. Sometimes, especially after swimming - rather than wash my hair too often- I rinse my hair, apply some of the creme, let it sit a few minutes, and rinse it out.

I could not use this product on my very sensitive scalp. Dimethicone and Cetrimonium bromide are #13 and #14 on the Amazon/Vitamin Shoppe ingredient list but they are #3 and #4 on the SASX tube I received. Dimethicone is a chemically synthesized silicone and there is strong evidence that Cetrimonium bromide is a skin toxicant or allergen. Apparently Giovanni has changed its formula and/or vendors are not required to describe the ingredients accurately on Amazon. Vitamin Shoppe only allows returns by mail which is not worth it since the postage would be nearly as much as the cost of the product + postage.UPDATE: I wrote to Vitamin Shoppe expressing my dissatisfaction with their misrepresentation of the ingredients. They did refund my payment without requiring me to return the product, which would have wiped out my refund. Unfortunately, they have not changed the order of the ingredient list.

We all have treated our hair differently. Some of us use extremely hot water which ruins your hair some people wash it too often not often enough some people just over processed their hair, they might blow dry it too much or use darling instruments too much or just color it too much. So I can’t really go on a review just try the product and see if it works for you

The conditioner smells like hot plastic. Sucks because I think it works really good. I'd recommend using this AND a scented conditioner so you don't have to smell it...

AMAZING! I can't even describe how good my hair feels after the first use. It really does feel silky! I am African-American and I'm wearing my hair "natural" which makes it difficult to find the right product. I am hooked on this one, the shampoo and conditioner.

This works!!! I am very satisfied with the way my Afro American type 4a-c hair feels. On auto pay and is part of my weekly biweekly regiment.
