EltaMD UV Clear Face Sunscreen SPF 46, Oil-Free Sunscreen with Zinc Oxide, Dermatologist Recommended

My dermatologist has had me using this product for years now. I really like it and find it to be a great product.I recommend.

This is my 3rd time purchasing this sunscreen, and I absolutely love it! One of the things I appreciate most is that it doesn’t cause my skin to break out. I have very sensitive skin, and most sunscreens tend to irritate or trigger breakouts, but this one doesn’t.I also love the lightweight formula. it feels so smooth and doesn’t leave that dreaded white cast that many sunscreens do. It gives me SPF 46 which is perfect for daily protection. The scent is a bit more on the medicinal side, but it’s not overwhelming, and I don’t mind it.The only downside is that the price tag.If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, I highly recommend this sunscreen. It’s gentle, effective, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling heavy or clogged. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine!

I’ve been using this product close to 10 years and it is the best I’ve found for my oily, highly acne prone, yet middle aged skin. I currently have relatively fair skin, but am typically an almost medium with warm undertones, and this doesn’t leave Any white cast.While it dries down completely after a few minutes, it does leave the slightest sheen to my skin (see attached photo), but it’s not bad and it is easily covered by a little powder or liquid foundation. I don’t feel it at all once applied - it just feels like a lightweight moisturizer. But You would likely need a moisturizer if you have dry skin.Because it doesn’t have a matte finish, I have continued to try several sunscreens every year for the past 10 years, and nothing has come close to this product. Anything that mattifies typically has silica, which causes enhanced oiliness on my face after several hours. So, this has remained my fave go to facial sunscreen.In the attached photo I am not wearing any makeup over the product.

My go to sunscreen. Feels light, doesn’t irritates my eyes, unlike majority of sunscreens.

Pump doesn’t WORK!!! I just read another review that said the same thing. I bought a package of 2. Very expensive and one works and the other pump WON’T work! I can’t even open it to transfer it to the other bottle. I had some lotion from before so I didn’t open it until after 30 days so can’t return. NEVER buying from this seller again!!

I started to use this Sunscreen this year, and I love it. Different from many other sunscreens, it is light, fragrance free and very easy to spread on my face. After entire summer, My skin tone remains almost unchanged. I am very happy. Strongly recommend!

i asked the wife for a good sunscrean and the elta shows up. i was reluctant to use any product bc i was expecting greasy, white streaks, etc. well, i was wrong. this is the opposite of all that. it doesnt streak and withing minutes it absorbs. big plus, all the stuff in there helped my complexion. it's now on subscribe and save.

After paying almost $80 for two 1.7 bottles of the EltaMD sunscreen from Amazon, I received bottles that were almost empty. They felt light and sure enough, there was only about four squirts of product in both bottles! Amazon refers me to EltaMD who tells me they can’t do anything about an item purchased on Amazon. I’ve been buying this product for years and love it. Thought I could save a couple bucks on Amazon and I’ve been burned.(UPDATE 10/29): Since leaving this review I have been in further contact with Amazon and they agreed to exchange the product, which I have recently received. It was noticeably heavier and all is well with a product that I like enough to pay $40 for 1.7 ounces. I appreciate that Amazon stood behind their sale even though they had to take my word for the fact that it was empty when I received it. Good job!
