After putting them through their paces on hikes and near the water, they've proven to be true multi-sport champions. Right out of the box, these sandals felt substantial yet surprisingly light. The quick-dry webbing straps are comfortable against the skin, and the closed toe design offers protection that traditional sandals lack – a huge plus on rocky trails. The bungee closure system is fantastic; it allows for a quick, secure fit that I can adjust easily, and it stays put. As someone who appreciates a bit more room, the KEEN Original Fit with generous toe space is perfect; no pinching or rubbing, even after miles of walking. The real test came on a hike that involved stream crossings and muddy patches. These sandals handled it like a dream. The siped rubber soles provided exceptional grip, even on wet rocks, preventing slips that would have been inevitable in regular hiking shoes. The quick-dry material meant they weren't waterlogged for long after getting wet. They drained efficiently and dried relatively quickly, keeping my feet comfortable throughout the rest of the hike. Beyond their performance in wet conditions, they are genuinely comfortable for extended wear. The high-rebound cushioning system provides excellent support underfoot, making them suitable for longer walks and standing. They feel stable and protective, giving me confidence on uneven terrain. Knowing they're made with quick-dry, washable materials means they stay fresh even after getting wet and dirty. Good shoes, comfortable, and I really like the design. It looks nice as well and should hold up for a long time. Some things to know: I typically wear a size 8.5 USA. I had to get a size 9 for it to feel good to me. So maybe the shoes run small. I don't necessarily have large feet, but the 8.5 shoe size felt cramped for me. There was a little stitch at the back towards the heel that was irritating me, and I just used a nail clipper to remove the minor stitching that caused it, and it now feels perfect. Overall, the shoe is great, and if you're looking to get one, it's better than the Newport I have as well.

Comfortable over extended hike by and through a creek in Huatulco, Mexico. Wet or dry. Good traction. Good fit. Well-made. Only worn them a few times but would expect them to last a long time. Would not wear on the beach, though. The sand gets stuck in the toes and it's hard to get out.

Most comfortable sandal / shoe I've ever bought. I love the design and it's just a great shoe. I have a 5-year-old pair of keen sandals that are still holding up great to this day. Great brand!

4.5 feels about right. Very comfortable, with beter cushioning than the Newports. True-to-size fit with a bit more room than Newports. They are versatile, lightweight design, they're great for every day wear. If they hold up I'll revise my review to 5 stars.

A great improvement on the original Newport design. They don’t seem as solidly built, but they are much more flexible and lightweight. Time will tell that to their longevity. At first, I was unsure of the fit, but they quickly stretched to form a nice web around my foot. Much easier to put on and especially to remove than the Newport. The new tread is incredibly grippy. This is the best and most comfortable Keen water shoe I have owned over the past 15 years.

Excellent shoe

They fit. Keen is a good work shoe - but these are not doing it for me. I went out of town for a weekend walking around a country town and short little hikes and my back hurt like it had not hurt in two years. I went back to my flip-flops if you can believe it. I will admit I have a 1" difference in my legs and count on the cushioning of the heels. I am saddened :( I had such high hopes. Unfortunately, for me the value for the money is not there.

Good sandals. very well made and great grip on most surfaces. I bought the green color ones before buying the black and both had the same small problem. The left side is a bit tighter than the right. I like a little wiggle room with all my footwear which is why I bought a size larger than what I usually wear. The green ones were the right size but I feel it was a bit too restrictive for me which is why I got the blacks a size larger. This might help make the decision to buy for others like me

Light, comfortable, enough room for the toe. All Keen's benefits, but much lighter and softer. Highly recommended

Good shoes to wear on the boat. Better than crocs.
