My son has a rare condition, nephrogenic diabetes insipidus, which requires him to have a G-tube and receive 24/7 feedings. Over the past three months, we’ve used these covers with great success. I brought a pack to the Wound Care Clinic at Primary Children’s Hospital, where the Wound Care specialist approved them, noting their excellent quality. They offer great absorption, are the right thickness, and the button doesn’t leave any marks on his skin. After washing, they hold up well and come in a variety of prints. Since my son is quite small for his age, the covers are slightly larger, but this actually worked better to absorb any potential leaks caused by the constant pressure of his G-tube. I had considered buying cute designs from Etsy, but given the affordability and practicality of these, they’ve been a lifesaver. While not all the prints are dinosaur-themed, they all feature vibrant colors. Considering the frequent washing and G-tube changes, these have been a great, budget-friendly solution.

I love getting these for my little one (4 months)!! They come in many themes/patterns and are very good quality material. They help with keeping his port from irritating his skin and still allow room for his port to rotate when needed

I really love how soft they are and they fit well around the tube. My only problem is that I find with many of them on the snaps are both flat sides so they cannot snap closed. I wouldn’t mind a couple you know human error but I keep finding them as I use them.. mine have problems if they are not snapped.. If you are ok with them not being able to snap these are the perfect find to fit around your feeding tube. They are soft the quality is great. So much better then gauze..

My 2 year old just got a G tube on June 20th. Did not take long for his skin to get irritated quickly. Before I found these I made sure to keep the stoma site clean and dry all day. Then I would cover it up at night while he slept. Worked for the first few weeks until he developed that inflamed red protective barrier of skin around it. We were prescribed a temporary steroid ointment to calm his skin down. In the mean time I researched heavily all over Amazon to find the right g tube covers to protect his skin, and make G tube feeds less stressful. These have been wonderful. I highly recommend. It also helps to hold the G tube in place so it’s not flopping around all day. I change them twice a day. To clean them I’ve found white vinegar, peroxide, green alcohol, and water does the trick. Wouldn’t come out in the washing machine. Stomach acid and protein shakes are not kind to fabric. I of course reclean in gentle dreft for him. Definitely planning on buying more of these. Love the designs. I only wish I had come across these sooner, If looking for protective covers for G tube kids these are your best bet.

Very soft and washable, love the snap, although if you have drainage issues I would spray with stain remover before washing especially if you have hard water.
