The bomb
Canned fish for people who don’t particularly like canned fish. I am not one of them. I have, as a hiker and quick- meal-at-the-construction-job-site person, choked down some fairly awful cans of plain sardines on crackers. I haven’t tried every brand out there, but Fishwife hasn’t disappointed. i tried them after reading a review on NYT Wirecutter so for a more erudite description of these, I recommend their take on canned fish. I will say, however, the heat from the crushed red pepper is not overwhelming and provides a good flavor to the naturally oily Mackerel. They are truly good straight from the can, on a cracker, or with a bit of cooked rice. I bought the subscription to these as they are a better deal in this form. They’re also sold locally at a specialty market, but with a premium price tag.

Top quality and flavor from a tin
Very surprising - didn't realize tinned fish could get this good. Worth the cost. Mix up with red onion on a crispy bread for a great quick snack.

The Best!!!
I eat lots of Kipper snacks/ tins for lunch during the week and these were hands down the best I have ever had. Initially worried about Mackerel being too oily ( like sushi) but it was heavy smoke and delicious. 5 stars

Pricey - but good.
Excellent taste and quality... but a little pricey.

Good
Its a once in a while type of food. It keeps me from ordering out sometimes. It is really good and better than the rest but at the same time can be really salty.

Good When Not Fishy
Hit and miss for me. Some tins are fine while others seem pretty fishy. These would probably be best added in a dish rather than straight from the tin.

Delicious
Always a hit when company comes over!

Yes please, I want more!
Hands-down, best fish I have ever ate, absolutely amazing. The oil that it’s packed in is fantastic! I literally just dumped it from the can onto my rice and it was the best bowl of goodness I’ve ever ate in my life. I’m literally only going to buy fish from fish wife from now on
