My grandson will love these books! Got them as a Christmas gift.

Bought this for my nephew for his birthday. He likes the characters and stories.

This "Inspired Book Set" is a fantastic gift for any young fan of the series it is inspired by. My nine-year-old son has read and reread this series a few times already, as he is a huge fan of the game and even plays his own creative imaginary versions of the game on his own. The book series follows a main character "Red" in a detective-like fashion where the reader is given clues as to who the imposter might be. It is a very involved and exciting series, following similar to the gameplay while adding an inner voice and imaginative structure. At first, I was concerned that it might be too violent, as the game it is based off of does allude to a lot of violence. However, this book series maintains the boundary that the game itself does as well. If your child has already played Among Us, then this book series will not speak of or show anything they would not have already experienced in game. I personally found that the most unpleasant images were in the coloring book which can be removed before gifting without disrupting the book series itself. If your child is a fan of the Among Us game, this is a great series to encourage reading and inspiration for their own creative play. The books are well written and captivating, while maintaining boundaries and only alluding to violence. The coloring book does cross this boundary slightly and as previously mentioned, can be removed without disrupting the literary set.

They made a great Christmas gift for my 8 year old grandson! He loved them

This book set is the perfect gift for the kids who are currently into the Among Us gaming community. Obviously a game based on murder may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's done in a very comical and non-gory way. My son is 8 and has enjoyed playing the game for a few years now. I'm not sure how much longer the fad will last, but he's also an avid reader and loved a similar book set based off FNAF (though I won't let him play FNAF yet). He hasn't seen these but based on what I've seen, these are right around his reading level. With Xmas right around the corner, this would great a great gift or stocking stuffer, plus encouraging kids to read is a better option than candy canes and dollar store junk.. it's even better than getting a lump of coal!

My 9-year-old son thinks the books are entertaining. They are super short, not overly complicated, and a fun read; however, each book is rife with typos and errors, which isn’t ideal for newer readers. We also received 2 journal/coloring books with the set in place of one of the books.
