My girls like them but never went really crazy for other brands. However when I started giving these to the girls as their snack they went totally bonkers for them. They are much larger than many other brands, there was no nasty smell when I opened the bag (which was a big plus for me), they are quality black soldier fly larvae even the color looks different than other brands. My girls seem to love the taste and like I said they go bonkers for them. They literally scream when they see me coming with the container of them at night. The price is very reasonable compared to many other brands for a 10 lb bag. I recommend trying these for your chickens I bet you they will love them.
