Durable fabric

This is a rather well done weaving/sewn picture of Our Lady of Gaudalupe. The cloth material is rather thick (which also prevents it from hanging flat and smooth) and, as far as I can tell, the entire image is sewn/woven - no paint is used at all. It's not a perfect image - the edging of the cloud around her is too dark compared to the original, her lips look a little smudged and the angel at the bottom is wearing red (not in the original). What really makes this image look so rich is the amount of gold threading which is spread throughout the entire image, including the background and right to the edge. However, it's a bit on the cheap side of things - lots of staples are used on the two wooden bars to hold the cloth, the hanging rope at the top feels like a typical shoe string, and the baubles at the bottom are just cheap plastic ones. Yet to me it deserves 5 stars because the overall look is very pleasant and rich looking while the price is really just right for such a piece of wall art.

Looks really cute hanging in my room. I like unique wall hangings, and even though I'm not religious, I love strong female archetypes and deities, and Mother Mary is one of them. For something so simple, it is made really well and looks really nice.

Je suis tellement heureuse. Pour ce qui est des deux autres : divine mercy and Guadalupe Virgin, they are PERFECT !
