Amazing: a comfortable thimble that fits AND stays on!
It's astounding how the little things, like this, can make us so happy - so much so that I've warmed to its unusual color. At least I'll find it easily if I ever drop it :) ! For decades, I've struggled with thimbles (even the small ones) that slide off my fingers. I just repair clothes or do some hand hemming. A decent thimble had been an elusive dream.Pros:• Even though I have small hands, the small fits my middle and index fingers, and the medium my thumb.• These stay on!, probably due to their length and material. (They are NOT too long, even for me.)• Color makes them easy to find in sewing basket or if drop them.• The large fits my husband.• They seem to have some "give" so even the small & medium can likely fit more typical size hands• Thick caps for the pads of the fingers where one wants to push the eye of the needle• They seem to help grabbing a needle, too, for pulling it.• Good temperature range, if you want to use a glue gun or similar.Cons:• Price.

great product
These came in handy when I wanted to learn a new skill-hand quilting. You cannot do hand quilting without a thimble- and I am reluctant to have anything on my fingers- then I found these thimbles - they're almost like having nothing on your fingers; however they protect from the jabs which are constant when a newby tries hand quilting. I haven't got the rhythm down pat yet but you can be sure that I will continue to protect my fingers with these thimbles.

A hopefully GREAT alternative to a metal thimble.
I do not do a lot of formal sewing, but I do do a LOT of repairs! My metal thimble, which appears to fit well, always slips off, which I find very irritating as I do need to use it. I saw this set of silicone thimbles at a great price, and ordered. The set contains three, and the medium one is a perfect fit. I have done a test with a needle, and it does not penetrate the silicone even with a lot of pressure. That was my biggest concern, which was unfounded. The thimble has little additional round protrusions (very very low), that could be used for needle placement if the material being poked was exceptionally tough like denim seams or even leather? The thimble fits very snugly and stays put--which I really really like. It is comfortable to wear, and adds a better grip to its list of assets; hardly anything slips through silicone. I am totally delighted with my new thimble (set) and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who sews, or does crafts. This would also be a great stocking stuffer!

Defiantly thick!
The comfy Flexible THIK-Grip Thimbles are packaged together with 3 of each size large, medium, and small. Size of course, is relative and so the multi-pack is helpful to determine appropriate personal fit. For me and my purpose I found the THIK pad to be a bit cumbersome. I want to use these for freemotion quilting. When maneuvering a quilt sandwich under a stationary needle home sewing machine, a bit of grip can make all the difference in ease of movement and stitch quality. Not being comfortable with full gloves made for the purpose, I long ago switched to finger cots. When I saw these, I thought perhaps the extra thickness at the finger pad might help facilitate movement of all the fabric bulk and weight. Likely that will be the case with a bit of practice. There is good grip for the push, pull, tug then adjust again that quilting requires. Also, the pads are quit stiff as they should be, for hand needle work (stitching a braided rug for example); but, that definitely does take away the sensation of feel/touch that is also important for properly directing a needle. I do see that they will also be of use when crafting calls for my glue gun.

Good Protection!
These flexible thimbles work well for my hobby of making stained glass projects. After scoring the glass, I run it across a grinder/router type of machine to shape and smooth the edges. Sometimes the freshly cut glass cuts into your fingers while grinding it. If you work a lot everyday, your fingers and thumbs get sore. These thimbles worked very well to protect my fingers and thumbs.

No more stabbed fingertips!
I've been embroidering gifts for my friends this holiday season, but I'm not exactly an expert, so I stab my fingers periodically. I was using a leather thimble, but it didn't fit well and couldn't grip the needle. These silicone thimbles are perfect. They fit perfectly and have lots of grip. I used them for two hours last night and, once I became accustomed to the padding, hardly noticed they were on my fingers. No slipping or shifting, either. I'm a big fan and highly recommend these.

Excellent Flexible Thimbles
This collection of flexible thimbles in assorted sizes works well for needlework--particularly quilting. With 3 each of small, medium, and large thimbles, you can reinforce whichever fingers you choose. While the purple color is garish, it makes them easy to find if they fall to the ground. And the finger pads are reinforced with extra grip, meaning you can more easily hold your object as you sew (or knit, or crochet, or...)And they sell for a very fair price.
