CMTECK Microphone for PC G009

I purchased 2 of these at once. So far, just set one up to use voice to text with chatGPT on a Ubuntu computer that acts as a server (not headless obv.) Very clear communication. Spoken prompts are spot on. The second one is for my Macaw's computer. Yeah, I know, my bird has a computer, shut up! It is mainly to stream movies for her in the day. Sometimes I travel while on work, so I decided to drop a web cam and a mike on her computer so I can pop in and talk to here while away. Know computers for 30 years has its advantages! Looking forward to setting this up before December when I hit the road again!

So far so good. This was my first time buying a microphone. I was going to go with one twice this price, but changed my mind. I recently started doing a lot of zoom calls, and I noticed people would move in closer to hear me or ask me to repeat what I was saying. A few times I was told I sound muffled. It wasn't until I listened back on a call and I shocked how horrible I sounded through my desktop speakers. This microphone was very easy to set and very simple to use. Since I started using it , no- one has complained about my speaking sound or quality. I sound nice and clear. Therefore I'm happy with this purchase.

Works well with a PC and blocks an impressive amount of background noise. It even blocks out my keyboard typing right under the mic. The mute button does not work with Teams so if you are using on a call, you will have to unmute both the button on the mic and the Teams call itself in order to speak but the mic itself does work with the program. Overall, good quality but wish it worked with this program better.

Works great for desk top asking AI questions. Easier than typing.

Great mic! It is so easy to just plug in and ready to use. My computer doesn't have a built in mic so I got this so that I could talk to my friends when we play our online game. It is non-intrusive as it doesn't take up a lot of space and pretty sensitive to pick up talking as I can sometimes still communicate by talking a little louder from the kitchen. The cord length is perfect for hanging over the back of my desk and plugging into my computer which extra cord left over if I need to move it closer. No connectivity issues and it has a sleek look.

I got this to voice chat with my brother in online games. I was hesitant about the mic quality since the price is so low, but I've used it regularly for a month now and it's been awesome. Super easy to install (I plugged it into the USB port and it worked right away), and my brother says the sound is clear and free of background noise, with or without the included mic cover. My voice is notoriously soft, so I was surprised by the clarity; I didn't even put the sensitivity up high, and he can hear me at my normal speaking volume. I can keep the mic set back on the desktop too, unlike others where I've needed it right by my mouth to be heard. The compact size makes it easy to push out of the way when it's not in use, which I appreciate. Its footprint is fairly small, but it stands steadily and has good weight. The whole stem is a bendable gooseneck, so I can tip the head any way I need to. It also has sound receivers on all sides of the head, not just the top, so I don't have to be facing right at it--helpful when I'm moving around or not paying attention to the mic location in the middle of gaming. In short, I'm very pleased and, as long as it lasts me a year or more, I'd definitely recommend it to others.

Makes doing coursework so much easier. I can talk to chatgpt and I can dictate papers. Great product.

CMTECK USB Computer Microphone G009 Very nice cardoid mic with noise cancellation. The mic is very clear and does a good job cancelling echo/feedback from speakers. Cable is long enough to connect to PCs on the floor. The flexible neck easily holds the mic in the set position. The mute button is easy to find and use and the green/red light provides an easy to see indication if it is muted or live.

Great product and works well! I am so pleased with this microphone. It is small, compact and POWERFUL! I purchased this because I will be recording meditations and my laptop mic is horrible for that use. The sound with this mic is amazing and so crystal clear! I am so glad I purchased this. It is so easy to use. Plug in the usb and you're good to go. A light will light to let you know it is functioning and there is a mute button too. Great buy, I highly recommend! Thank you.

Comprei pois meu microfone antigo não era compatível com Linux. Esse funcionou bem no Mint, sem complicação.

This is the second one of these I've bought. The first was 3 years ago for my son because he kept having other mics fail. Not this one though. This mic is sturdy, sounds great and tge base has a nice weight to it with a built in mute button and a light to know the mute status. My son's is still perfect and I bought this second one for myself
