Very happy.The beads are real wood and beautiful.The scent of the sandalwood is soothing.The mala beads came with their own pouch if your prefer to carry them than wear them.I like that I can wear them as a bracelet. If I want to take a break at a park and chant, them being on my wrist is a bonus.

My therapist wanted me to start using mala beads as a way of handling stress and anxiety. I had no idea what type to get- I just knew I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I never tried before plus I wanted them to be simple in appearance and durable. So I decided to get wooden ones. I selected the blood sandalwood color which is a deep, rich brown color. For less than $10, they work wonderfully used as mala beads. They are also very pretty. My wrists are too skinny to wear these as a bracelet, but I have worn them as a necklace around my neck and they look very pretty and I received compliments (the point of mala beads is to be able to carry them easily with you which is why they are often worn as jewelry). I recommend them as an inexpensive, attractive and thoroughly usable set of mala beads.
