It was exactly what I was looking for a backpack that I can take to work and go hiking. It looks great and it is very practical.

So after seeing Fallout, my son really wanted a roll-down backpack. This one isn’t quite like that, but it’s functional, spacious, and durable. It has done great withstanding my sons throwing, dragging, and dropping it everywhere. I took off one star because we can’t seem to get it to roll down as shown in the picture.

This works well for a backpack i just didn’t like how many fasteners it has. Could do away with one set of them. Aside from that it carries everything i need it to and works like a champ. Comfortable to wear and holds a lot.

I bought this bag for three reasons. 1) Its ability to do what it's suppose to do, 2) Durability and Resistance to Water, and 3) Its expanding features. I don't doubt its capability for achieving all three criteria, however, the last two would come with caveats. You'll note the fabric's difference in my pictures and the vendor's. Why is mine so shiny (enter gif or meme here)? I don't like shiny. And lastly, the seller claims one can stow 30L in this pack, Let's just say one could manage 25L. Converting L to lbs equals 55 lbs. Those thin shoulder straps would have me crying Ay Caramba in not time. Suffice to say - the pack was returned.

This backpack has 2 pairs of adjustable straps on the front that clip onto buckles on the top of the pack, so you can dust the height of the pack depending on how much stuff you have inside. Have a lot of stuff? Use the top pair of straps for more room. Running errands? Use the bottom pair of straps to keep it compact, then loosen them as you add things inside; if you need even more room, use the top pair of straps.The front of the pack has 2 rows of MOLLE straps to attach items or clip them there. There's a smaller zipper pouch just above them, and a larger, deeper pouch that closes with 2 velcro straps just above that.On either side, at the bottom, are elastic water bottle pouches that are 6½ inches deep, so most of the bottle will be in the pocket. There is a compression strap just above the pockets to either hold the top of the bottle, or they can be pulled tight to make the bag thinner and keep things from shifting around inside.The main compartment is held closed with a 2 inch velcro strap on a flap. There's a 5x8 inch zippered pouch on the flap.Inside the main compartment is a laptop pocket on the back with a large mesh zippered tablet pocket in the front. The laptop pocket has a velcro strap at the top to keep the laptop in place. On the opposite side are 2 5 inch deep pockets. The rest of the space is open.On the back, there's semi-firm padding with grooves to promote airflow.
