Almost perfect - just barely missing the mark on sustainability
Love these bars (I've tried all three flavours and love them all), and love that they make use of food that would otherwise go to waste and are wrapped in compostable wrappers. To me, the sustainability of this product is its key feature. There are plenty of other, similar snacks out there that are not nearly as sustainable. The reason for deducting one star is that the product arrived wrapped in plastic. While this may seem to be more of a packaging complaint than a product complaint, to me this goes to the heart of the product's key feature. As my whole reason for buying these bars is their sustainability and low environmental impact, having them wrapped in plastic detracts from their key feature. Why make the individual wrappers compostable, and then wrap the box in plastic?
