Does not work on my top spec UK induction hob.
Smooth Surface Induction, Gas is what the specification states.Standard test for a pan to work on induction is to try sticking a fridge magnet to the bottom of the pan. No magnetic attraction whatsoever. Very disappointed.Nearly £70 spent for something I can't use.

Stainless steel egg cups
I searched till I found a pan with metal cups. Most are plastic, which I find inferior. This pan is everything I want, also not made in China !!

Works very well if you follow these simple rules
Works far better than previous plastic cup poachers I've used in the past. The Stainless steel cups transmit heat quickly so the egg cooks faster and more evenly plus they can be as non-stick as you like if you follow this instruction: remove however many cups you wish to used from the pan BEFORE you put the pan on to boil. Keep the cups to one side away from heat. Smear the cups with butter then put an egg in. Make sure you do this just before you put the cups into the boiling pan otherwise the egg will soak into the butter and you'll lose the non-stick properties. Put the cups into the boiling pan. The heat will cook the outer egg immediately and seal it. Big eggs cook for 4 minutes. The heat resistant black cup handles work just fine for the seconds you need to remove it from the pan. Then, run a table knife round the run to ease the egg white away from the rim and turn the cup over. Should just drop out whole. NO residue and no broken eggs. Simple really. Secrets...water must be boiling and butter and egg go in the cup just before cooking!
