Where were these textbooks when I was a kid?
I am an engineer. I am also not the greatest at physics. I love how visually stimulating this book is. It is split into two groupings of students so older students do a slightly more advanced thing than younger students so it can be used with multiple kids at the same time. I love that the experiments are simple! I don’t like gathering materials for science demonstrations. That’s a secret. But, I really don’t. These are easy, everyday items for the most part, or things you are likely to have. Learning physics by doing is definitely a must, and probably another reason I have always been weak in it.I also love that the scientific method is used to run the experiments. Your student can put in their hypothesis and keep track of results and you have got the scientific method! The scientific method is Purpose, Hypothesis, materials, procedure, results, conclusion. I am likely going to use this series with my 4th grader who will be in 5th next year. I now want all of these textbooks as they are right up my alley! I recommend them!

Great book
I would encourage the person gave the poor review to read "The Langauge of God" - written by the famous DNA scientist who first introduced DNA in a speech given by President Clinton. The book is full of Bibilcal support to all things scientific. This is a great way to open the minds of our children to those things we can't understand as well as those things we do understand with scientific backing.

Lies and misrepresentations
Typical creationist lies, wrapped up and marketed quite well to deceive the scientifically illiterate home schooling parents. Save your money and your children. Buy a "real" science book.DJ
