Lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Pleasing to the eye not sure about the soles but I don’t see them when I’m wearing them.

I really like these safety shoes. They have a great modern design that looks almost sporty, yet retain most of the best features of a good safety shoe. They have a strong metal toe cap and a thick rubberised sole, plus soft padding inside to protect my feet.I note that there appears to be no metal sole guard, or if there is one, it's not detectable with a magnet run along the footbed. The toe cap is strongly magnetic, so I'm certain this would be the same metal material if used in the sole.The main drawback with these shoes, is the sole pattern. It seems to be designed on a look that has holes and gaps all along the side of the welt. These are guaranteed to clog up with dirt, mud, cement, anything that you would walk through on a building site or workplace.Once these holes get filled and dried up, they will be dreadful to clean and sharp objects caught in these recesses will contribute to damaging the sole as my feet push down on them when walking.In conclusion, these are a 'mixed bag' Great for comfort and looks, but badly let down by an totally impractical sole. For me, working in a clean warehouse all night they are ideal, but if you're on a muddy site I wouldn't recommend them.Also be aware that if you're someone with overpronation, these shoes do not provide enough support on the arches. My daughter tried these on and within 5 minutes of walking, her feet had collapsed inwards. If you don't suffer from this, however, then these safety shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn.

Quality for work shoes with steel toe caps should be mich higher. 1st day on site and they are already damaged and torn. I will still keep them though. I like the was they look an they are one the most comfortable work trainers i have worn. Hopefully they hold up and don't fall apart. I can live with just damaged bits on the steel toe caps.
