The ideal air temperature is between 10°C and 25°C. It needs to be dry, not damp, with a maximum of 80% humidity and no risk of rain during the application or drying period.

How should I store my paints after use?

Store indoors in a cool, dry location between 5°C and 25°C and out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep paint containers tightly sealed to prevent air exposure, keep away from open flames.

How much paint will I need for my uPVC door?

Our uPVC paint has a coverage of approx. 10 to 12sqm per litre for a single coat when applied with a paint brush (or more when sprayed). The exterior of a typical door requires approx. 250ml per coat. We recommend two coats, so 500ml is sufficient.

Based on an 'average' window frame (1498mm x 736mm), approx. 250ml of paint would usually be sufficient to cover two window frames, with two coats of paint.

Great paint shower is gleaming

Better than using spray, coverage is exceptional. Wear a mask though its toxic sme knocks you for 6. Versatile not rubbed away as yet stayed very white so impressed with quality. Little tin will.do a shower tray plus touch ups.

Door sticks shut and finish is poor.

I bought this paint to rejuvenate my front door. The paint smelt awful and was drying as fast as I was putting it on leading to brush strokes and poor finish. Once it had dried every time I locked my door it stuck firmly to the door seal making it almost impossible to open again and this carried on for 2 months until I repainted it with Rust-Oleum UPVC paint. It appears to me that the Paintnuts paint reacted with the door seals causing the door to firmly stick, a truly awful paint that I would never buy again. By contrast the Rust-Oleum paint was much better and gave a superior finish.

Good product but expensive

If you are using it on facias etc use a mini roller it gives a very good finish. Practice a lottle before applying for real to get best results. Once I got the hang of it. It goes jn well and goes far.
