Transformative swim aid for kids afraid to put their nose underwater!
This item got my 6 year old swimming. She was scared of putting her mouth and nose in the water (we were stuck on the “blow bubbles” part of swim lessons), and once this was on her, she took off swimming unaided except for this mask. The air in the mask does provide a little buoyancy. Because of those things, it was EXACTLY the tool she needed to get her swimming this summer; mere weeks later, she was submersing her head without the mask and overcoming that earlier fear. In fair warning, some kids do not like it and feel they can’t breathe with it on. My kid also pulls it off when she feels short of breath. We only use it in the pool and under supervision. However, she’s let some friends (age 5-6) borrow it at the pool and they, too, were able to overcome fears and start swimming around with it. Whole family was shocked at the sudden turn-around in swim fears. This can be a great tool if you’ve got a kid afraid of putting their nose in the water!

Perfect for kids! Didn’t leak.
Bought these for a trip to the outer banks where we used a charter (Family Water Adventures and Capt. Tami were amazing if you’re ever there) to go snorkeling and shell finding. My 9 year old used it and it worked exactly as described. It didn’t leak and stayed secure. He found so many shells. Would definitely recommend for kids for any water adventure.

Great fit for my kid
I bought this mask with the intention of keeping my kids entertained for a bit while boating. Let me tell you it has provided him with a bunch of treasure finds, and hours of exploring the water. Very secure mask, very easy to put on and remove by both my 5-year-old and my 9-year-old. Both kids say how amazing and clear they can see under water with zero fogging issues or water getting inside. I was a little worried about it being cheap as it was low priced but don't let that fool you its made of high quality materials.

Interesting Design lol
This snorkel is a pretty great idea. My 9 year old loves it. It's so nice that it's one piece and easy to wear. However.... I do have a few things I think could be a bit better. The snorkel tube (we'll get into more detail about that in a second) snaps on to the mask in such a way that I could see it breaking easily. The other thing is the straps. I sorta wish there was buckle that allowed you to adjust it to your comfort and then unclip it to take it off. This design is a little difficult to get on an off and you need to readjust. Now about the tube... I can't help but wonder why it was given this shape. It basically looks like a giant phallus coming off the mask! Seriously?! I was laughing when I was looking at it and thought there was NO WAY the designers could've missed this! A long shaft and bulbous top!? Give me a break. This was not an accident. I worked in kids clothing design and this would've be cut the second it arrived as a sample lol. I laugh every time I look at it!

Love
We use these for the beach the lake the pools. My kids love them and all the other kids want to use them. We have had them for a couple years now and they are holding up. My kids ages now are 4, 6, 10 and they fit them all fine.

Good fit, worked well. Teach your kids how to use it safely.
This fit well for my 7 year old son after he got used to fitting it onto his face. It was also a better size for my 10 year old daughter who’s on the smaller side and has a slim face, than the small size that I ordered for her. I liked the colors and a full mask works better than goggles and separate mouthpiece especially for my kids that are squeamish about the salty ocean water. I suggest teaching your kids what to expect before putting it on. The first time my son tried it at the pool and the floating ball blocked the air intake, he freaked out. Later I had him wear it on the ground and tilt his head up (which also blocks the air intake as the ball roll down due to gravity) to simulate the sensation and how breathing can resume by looking forward or face down again. And in an emergency/panic how to push forward the mask quickly to gasp for air. He was comfortable using the mask after that.

Good, but be careful. PLEASE READ
Got this for our 4 year old daughter for a recent trip to Hawaii. She was very excited about trying it and wearing it in the tub, and eventually the pool (she was too afraid of the ocean). My daughter said it was comfortable and loved looking underwater with it. We'd play with her sea creature toys (me with my traditional snorkel). Between this and a regular snorkel, my daughter preferred this. HOWEVER, I would caution everyone using this with a young child to be very careful and watch them very closely. In a child's excitement they'll breathe more quickly. Their little lungs can not expel the CO2 build up inside the mask well enough and depending on your child, they will need regular breaks. Being a diver, and reading up on these full face masks, I knew the possible dangers of full face snorkel masks going in. Constantly check on, monitor, and give your child regular breaks from wearing it. While wearing it in the tub for one of the first tries, she did tell me that it didn't feel good, so I took note. She still likes it, but I don't let her wear it uninterrupted for over a minute. All children will be different, especially as they age, but please follow these practices. This also applies for inexperienced adults.
