Honestly it's the best night light for a loved one whether a child or adult that loves capybaras and suffers from the fear of the dark or is troubled by nightmares. The body is a soft pliable polyvynil that's durable enough to survive typical wear and tare. The light level can be adjusted by gently tapping the capys head, it can also be re-lit with a tap so long as it's set to the 20 minute timer. The light is a soft glow easy on the eyes and the right shade of honey amber that helps you fall asleep quickly thanks to the color of the capys body. Charging is easily done with the provided wall charger and usb c cable though keep in mind that the cable is short. Cautionary note. This will not stand up to any pets that chew on toys, shoes, furniture legs, doors, rocks, tires, the mailman, solicitors, Jehovas witnesses, and your mother-in-law. Consideration should be thought of when buying for those who have outbursts and might throw as the base of the light is hard plastic. Do not put in water.

This little guy is honestly cuter than I expected. The silicone material feels soft and squishy, and the different brightness settings are a nice touch. The tap-to-change feature works well and makes it fun to use. I can easily see kids loving it just as much as I do. I’ve accidentally left it on overnight after bumping it in my woman cave, and it still kept glowing well into the next day, so the battery life is surprisingly solid. It’s a simple, happy little lamp that adds a nice bit of warmth and personality to the room.
