Summer (Seasons) Board book – International Edition, October 1, 2015

This fits in perfectly for our monthly rotating theme in my in home daycare. The kids just love it

This is my 20-month old child’s new favorite book. The pictures are very relatable to him and loves to point out the objects.Pictures are cute and bright. Good number of words per page for this age.

Simple book for the littlest readers. I use this book with 2 year olds in my yoga class and it is simple and sweet.

My grandson absolutely loves this book!

Good introduction of seasons.

As this kid-friendly book opens, a youngster wakes up and tells us, "I know it's summer when...the sun shines through my window early in the morning...and I jump out of bed!" Happy, rosy-cheeked children fill the long day with playing in the pool and a fountain, picnicking ("We're eating sandwiches in the sand...and sand in our sandwiches!"), and frolicking in the rain. This board book concludes with a sleepy little tyke riding in a stroller: "Then yawning happily...I fall fast asleep before it gets dark," Ailie Busby's vibrant illustrations feature precious details, such as a kid with a band-aid, another youngster who needs a tissue after smelling flowers, and animals which provide opportunities for reader and listener sound effects. My 2 1/2-year-old grandson, when he saw this series, brought me the whole pile--and had a marvelous time following the youngsters' activities and pointing out the illustrations' details. This budding literary critic's enthusiasm is the best proof of the set's quality.

My 1yr old class LOVES this book. The art is cute and clean. The text for each page is short and easy to read which is important for toddlers since they can't pay attention for very long. It was a good book and would recommend it to any parent or teacher of little ones!

A favourite book in our house

El libro es muy entretenido y tiene buen precio. Me ha gustado y a mi niño igual, lo hemos leído bastantes veces.

I received the Spring book in a monthly subscription box and my toddler loved it , so it made sense to get the Summer book. My toddler (20 months) loves talking around the pictures, the colours, the actions of the characters, count objects etc. Its a simple book but plenty to talk around.
