Works as described easy to program

These work great, only thing is you have to them off completely to stop the recording/music. It was easy to record and very loud. There is no volume adjustment.

This voice recorder is fun to use and works well--once you figure out how to use it. The instructions are difficult to read because the font is incredibly small, and the language is unclear. However, with some trial and error, I figured out what they were trying to say. The only problem I encountered was getting the recorder to play the audio files, starting with the correct one. On one of the recorders, it worked perfectly, but on the other, even though I named the file so that it was first on the list when sorted, the recordings would begin in the middle, requiring me to click through them to get to the correct one. Other than that, I think these work very well.

Mine came used, with someone else’s blasting Xmas music! :0 You have to plug it into a computer, go into the drive and delete any preloaded songs. You also can control the sound there. Not an app, just connected to the computer like another drive. (Nice) You can upload talking or songs, any audio file. With that done, I was able to record 15 minutes of cat purring to install in a realistic cat toy. You do need a compartment to reach the recording device. You have to recharge it after about an hour of play. The button is easy to find inside the toy if it is soft. Not sure how it would work for a hard doll tho. I believe the directions say max play time is 50 min until recharging is needed. Mine seemed to play longer. Note: you can only record one manual recording (15min). As soon as you start recording it again, it over writes that one recording. In order to add more permanent audio files, you must do them with it plugged in (USB) to a computer.

This is easy to use and so much longer recording time than most. I actually used it to record something I like to fall sleep to, but didn't want it to go on all night. The demo is quite loud (and I think Christmas music) but its a great device

I purchased a two pack of these recorders to use for recording messages for my grandchildren. I recorded the messages in MP3 format as specified. After about 50 attempts one of the recorders FINALLY transferred the file to the drive. They both arrived with drive errors, and my computer scanned and "repaired" these. I still have been unable to use the second recorder. I am SUPER disappointed. I read other reviews and thought they would be great. They were all apparently very lucky. In case you think I am a feeble old woman who doesn't know how to use a computer, I have a degree in information systems with an emphasis in computer networking. These are just junk.

Clear recording and lots of extra time

Great product. It’s loud at first but I figured how to lower the volume, just connect the device to the computer, open the file “config” and change just typing the volume you want. It’s set up for VOL=30, I changed it to 10 and it was perfect for what I wanted. It wasn’t for a stuffed animal, so I was way better. Keep trying changing the volume until you get the volume works better for you. I hope it helps.
