Just Digging It by Gypsy Jewel is exactly what if professes to be, a beginner's guide to metal detecting, but also helps detectorists who have been participating in the hobby for a while remember some of the basics. Asking permissions, following local regulations concerning detecting, cleaning and displaying our finds are just some of the points she covers. This little book is written in a very readable format. Helped me get more proficient at a hobby I have enjoyed for many years.

Wonderful book from Gypsy Jewels on the basics of metal detecting. Gypsy Jewels has been metal detecting for many years and this book is her passing on those years of experience. Her YouTube videos are down to earth and this book makes a great reference book to put in with your gear.

Questions and issues that people might have are explained very well in this book. Highly recommended!

This is a great book written by a star in the metal detecting community. If you've thought about taking up the hobby or are firmly entrenched in it already, you should buy and read this book.

For a beginer or someone intrested in the hobby, this is an amazing book by the lovely Gypsy (Not as great as the treasure vortex podcast tho ❤️ )Well detailed with everything to consider when you're starting out and easy to understand.To be honest it's not too useful for people that already know everything about detecting or at least have advanced enough to where you understand all the basics and already are part of a club.I don't regret buying it one bit!

If you want to get into metal detecting or have already started with no or minimal success, this book is for you. Basic Detecting 101 information we can all use.
