Having an old sports ankle injury which flares up quite regularly, I decided to try these socks. The ankle seems much better when compressed with a compression sock. The socks are a tight fit but comfortable. I find that I prefer not to wear them all day and to give my feet some freedom. I think that the tightness may put some people off after purchase but I persevered and am pleased that I did.
