I make knotted mala necklaces and it works great to thread on the beads. The wax helps the beads go on the end without it getting frayed and I don't have to use a beading needle. The beads I use have a 8-1mm size hole. I knot them super tight and pull on the cord and no issues with it feeling flimsy or breaking. I really hope it holds up over time in comparison to cotton or silk thread which doesn't hold up for too long. The price was excellent and the colors are gorgeous!
