I’m really happy with these knives. We’re in the process of moving and remodeling a house and my kitchen goods are scattered all over the place and I needed knives. I had just gotten my hands on a Carote pan that impressed me so much I bought an entire set. So when I discovered they also made knives out of this seemingly miraculous material, I hit the buy button. There’s every size in my knife block here. They are wickedly sharp right out of the box. I especially like and appreciate that they come with blade covers. They are lightweight but powerful, something I really appreciate as I get older. They are the easiest thing in the world to clean. Not only does nothing really stick to them, which makes them a joy to use, but they clean up in a flash. A gentle handwashing is all they need. The handles have a sleek, stylish, modern look and feel, matching the cookware handles as well as my pickled acacia countertops. There’s a knife for different uses, everything from a chef knife, bread knife, veggie knife, and paring knife. There’s even a santaku, which is my favorite knife to use for almost anything. They seem quite durable and with care, only time will tell. But I see no reason I won’t still be happily using these knives years from now.

From the first use it is noticeable that they have an excellent edge: they cut meat, vegetables and bread effortlessly. The handle is comfortable, ergonomic and feels firm in the hand, which makes cooking much easier and safer.They come very sharp from the factory and so far I have not had to sharpen them. In addition, the design is modern and elegant, they combine perfectly with the rest of my kitchen. I also liked that they include a base (or case, if applicable) to store them in an organized way.Without a doubt, a great purchase if you are looking to renew your knives or have a complete and quality set at a good price. I totally recommend them!

Love this set. First purchase of the Carote brand and it didn’t disappoint in anyway! The handles are so smooth! Love the color as my old set had flaking paint from the blades and that won’t be an issue with these. The weight of the knives is nice without being extreme. They have washed well in the dishwasher and are so sharp. Came out of the box ready to use and I know they’ll last a long time. Great purchase for the price!

I love those knives, they are super beautiful in color and very sharp, I wash them daily in the dishwasher and they never stay intact!

I'd been wanting a sharp knife set for a while but didn't want to spend a ton and also didn't want a block to sit out on my counter. This set was priced right and I love the aesthetic of the white blades and white oak handles. They match my Carote pots and pans set, too. They've been good quality for the price and my husband was even pleasantly surprised at the sharpness. For what these cost, I could buy several sets vs. one expensive knife.
