Maple Bourbon Relish by Brooklyn Brine (9 ounce)

I wanted to like this product as much as I like bacon chocolate chip cookies. However, I had some issues with the product quality. First, there is no safety seal on the jar for the consumer to be assured the food is fresh and has not been tampered with. In addition, the product has no preservatives to keep out microbial growth or other "yucky" changes from occurring. Normally the no preservatives would not bother me but because this product did not have a safety seal and was not air tight in the jar, I would not take a chance and eat it. You are also at risk of any leakage from the lid not being tight enough, which is what happened to me. One last note, the jar says to refrigerate after opening....

I received this product and it was marked new but when removed the wrapping it was leaking and the lid was not secure.
