After months of weird waves in my prints - finally found the culprit! Bad “U” bearing on the underside of the print head causing the x axis to vibrate. I replaced it with one of these & I haven’t seen prints this smooth in forever it feels like. This is a hard to find part for some reason but inexpensive & works perfectly.
