Put this in my lawn tractor cart and covered with a tarp and it keeps water from pooling inside. Now my lawn cart can stay outside and not waste space in my garage.

Don't bother wasting money on these pillows for the pools, as they get holes in easily and don't last the winter. Most people do not put any pillows under the pool cover, and do just as well as those that do. Last winter was my first winter for a pool, and I am not getting more for this winter.

Going to buy an additional one the first one is doing very well we will see hoiw it holds up in winter.

I will start out by saying this there are only 2 tie down points on this pool pillow and that makes things a lot more difficult as to tying it down and it staying in place when the wind blows. Manufacture really needs to add holes so that all four corners can be tied down. We closed our 12'x26' oval pool last week. You will NEED an air mattress pump to inflate the pillow. Only fill it up about 70%. We drained some water out of the pool and placed the pillow in the middle. Tied it down (does not include rope) and put the tarp on it and tied that down. Came out an hour later and the pillow was clear on the other side of the pool. Adjusted it back in the middle and tied it back down. after another hour it had shifted to the other side of the pool. My husband and I punched 2 more holes and tied those down. it has not moved once since then!

I placed this in the center of my above ground pool before closing it for the season. (October) Tied it to both sides of my pool to keep in place. Worked well for bout 3 month. I started noticing that even tho I attempted to brush off excess snowfall, water would be majority sit on one side of the pool. I lifted the cover but it was still secured in place. By the end of January it clearly had deflated. The whole seem on one side had came apart.

If you have issues with this then you're probably using it incorrectly. This is not intended to lift your pool cover high enough so that rainwater flows off and over the side of your pool. This is intended to absorb the expansion of the ice that forms on your pool so that the ice does not expand and damage your pool walls. Expect to purchase a new one every year before closing your pool.The only issue I have with it is that you can only tie off 2 corners. Trying to keep it in place while installing the pool cover can be problematic because of this.

They fill up fine and work great. They do what they are supposed to do in keeping the cover off the water. The problem is they deflate over a short period of time. You may get a month or two before they deflate. I have already had to uncover the pool and re-inflate these and now they have deflated again. Not the end of the world, but very inconvenient.

I used this but seemed very thin material, I didn't use it for the winter months.
