The buy options above offer a S, M or L set so I bought Large as that’s what I want. But the product that arrives Medium, Medium Large & Large so only 1 of the 3 buds are Large and useful. If you check the details it say this but if the big buy box you select above to purchase/add to cart says ‘Large’ (next to different options for Medium and Small, then you expect Large!

Took them to the gym. Really poor sound isolation. Not enough to insulate against ambient noise. They certainly stay in the ear better than the original tips though. Word of warning, be careful when removing from ears if you have sensitive ears or tinnitus. A few times I pulled them out and ears were ringing loudly after. whatever way the silicone smacks back on removal. Audio quality is great at the expense of isolation. I need isolation more so no good for me.

As soon as I got my Sony WF-1000XM5 more than a year ago I researched better tips. My only regret is that my research concluded SednaEarfit were my best bet and I waited until now to pull the trigger. Oh well, now my XM5’s are damn near perfect. Bottom line: improved fit, (passes the sony app air fit test), comfort, noise cancelling seems the same or better, and best / most surprising of all - sound quality is noticeably better (disclaimer- this could be a function of micro ear wax clogs in my Old Sony tip filters). The original Sony’s were never horrible for me and they stayed in my ear but I had to use the large size and really do the jam and twist to get them to stay in just right. I got used to the pressure and putting them in the right way, really not bad but not great for $$$ premium ear buds, definitely got annoying having to sometimes have a couple tries before I had them in just right. After about a year+ the Sony tips began to harden and get less and less comfortable - was obviously time to replace them. Google research brought me right back to Sedna. now researching the Sedna’a can be kind of tricky - lots of models and combos and users with different earbud models. I landed on the MAX ASMR M/ML/L set after watching as many YouTube videos and reading tons of reviews. A couple notes from that research: a few reviews had conflicting info on if the MAX ASMR or MAX Standard resulted in better / worse noise cancelling and music sound quality - all I can say is I’m no audiophile and the sound quality improvement was immediately noticeable. To test this I listened to a high fidelity orchestral song I know very well with the Sony buds and then swapped in the Sednas and listened again - didn’t have to spend much time on this test as the sound quality improvement was envious. Regarding size, fit & comfort, the width of the Large Sedna is 14 which is slightly larger than the Large Sony soft tip (hence why I got the the M/ML/L pack instead of the L only pack) - as soon as I popped the L Sedna in they felt smaller, almost similar to how the M Sony’s feel for me, but I did some jumping jacks, banged my head into the wall a few times, etc. and the buds didn’t move - they are just much more comfortable for my ears and I had become accustomed to the pressure from forcing those Sony soft L’s in. All this said - major win for me but this is blatantly a HIGHLY subjective - we all have different ear shapes. Results may vary, but if you feel your Sony softs really need to be shoved in to work right and stay in and aren’t as comfortable as they should be, I feel pretty safe saying the same size Sedna MAX ASMR is going to do it for ya. Enjoy!
