Size is the perfect for a medium terrarium, its firm, smells very earthy and that makes me happy cause I hate when things smell like plastic our pets have to spend the majority of their lives in captivity so I like to replicate the outside world and his natural habitat as much as possible, my gecko loves it so I do too

This is perfect for my girl Indi. The size was perfect and she has played on and around it since we got it. ( Only down fall I had was I pre-ordered and it came 5 days later than someone who ordered the day it came out 🤷🏻‍♀️) I would recommend this for your reptile. Indi is a Ball Python she is 4 ft long if that helps for size.

Large size pass through hide. Has bright green vibrant colored moss covering that can handle getting wet when using misters for humidity control. Contoured be positioned into a corner but can easily be worked into your set up anywhere you choose. Currently using for an adult leopard gecko with its back positioned opening against a cork wall background.

The more Reptizoo products I try, the happier I am.Super cute moss hide. I haven't put it in the tank yet as this is a bit too large for my noodle at this time, but I am looking forward to using this hide when I set up my snakes new tank.There are no sharp points - which I think is important to note. I'm concerned about rusting, which is a common concern of mine after seeing people use those ball hides that rusted on everyone. Again, I haven't put this in a tank yet so I can't speak to that.I DO think that the holes are incredibly large and while that's great because I don't have to worry about my snake getting stuck, at the same time I'm going to have to find some kind of solution to make my snake feel secure in his space to use this. I'm thinking extra moss and plants over these holes.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE: I dropped this down one star because this is starting to shed and bare spots are showing. This would be great with a fake grass rug material that can be washed because pets are going to go to the bathroom on this and it is hard to clean. The hill itself with hideaways is great but it needs a washable grass/moss cover. My dragon started snacking on the shedding fake moss so I had to dispose of this hill.I was hesitant to put this in my bearded dragon's cage because I thought his feet might get caught in the moss. But he had no problem climbing around and under this. His favorite spot was on top of his large cave but this is now his favorite place to rest under the lights. His other cave had a hard surface and this moss covering the harder part gives the surface a softer area. I have a nice reptile humidifier/fogger and this stays moist enough to give my dragon the moisture he needs while under the lights. I have several REPTI ZOO products and find them to be of high quality and of unusual design. I highly recommend this cave for your lizard.
